Dead means non existant

The bible says we are saved by faith.

One must HAVE FAITH before they can be saved, Mere belief (dead faith) never saved anyone

Again, TRUE FAITH WORKS.
Amen! In James 2:14, we read of one who says/claims he has faith but has no resulting evidential works (to substantiate his claim). That is not genuine faith, but a bare profession of faith. So when James asks, "Can that faith save him?" he is saying nothing against genuine faith, but only against an empty profession of faith/dead faith.

*So James does not teach that we are saved "by" works. His concern is to show the reality of the faith professed by the individual (James 2:18) and demonstrate that the faith claimed (James 2:14) by the individual is genuine. Simple!

Man is saved through faith and not by works (Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9); yet genuine faith is vindicated, substantiated, evidenced by works. (James 2:14-24)

Christ saves us through faith based on the merits of His finished work of redemption "alone" and not based on the merits of our works.

It is through faith "in Christ alone" (and not by the merits of our works) that we are justified on account of Christ (Romans 3:24; 5:1; 5:9); yet the faith that justifies is never alone (solitary, unfruitful, barren) if it is genuine. (James 2:14-24) *Perfect Harmony* (y)

I can show you the same

I already have

What you cant show me is what grace is, because you have no understanding of it. Or what dead faith means.
Grace is that we don't have to clean ourselves just to go to the temple to be near God's Spirit, for Jesus cleans us now just by our faith in his shed blood cleaning us of the sins we repent of, and we become the temple.

Grace means unearned or unmerited favor. I means you are made right with God by his blood. The penalty of sin is death, The GIFT of God is eternal life’’

Your trying to make Gods grace gift a reward. Earned by your good works.. Thus you have no comprehension of what Grace is..

That is not in the Bible, it is what false teachers say like a mantra.

The reward is eternal life with God. Do you not know the scriptures?

I agree with @YourTruthGod that replied to this.
If you could show me where I'm wrong, I'd be willing to listen...

But I don't believe it's wrong to say that we have to obey God....
And do good deeds for Him....

If that's incorrect doctrine, then we're not reading the same bible.

Good Night.
I think that we have a differnt point of entry on obedience and good deeds.

When I was a child I sometimes obeyed my parents freely because I loved them, other times so I would not be punished and yet other times to gain something, and a million other variations.....e vero?

However, from the way I read some, not all of your posts obeying is for salvation, I am saying that obeying is a result of salvation we want to do what pleases Him.

The obeying is part of the relationship that exists, because I loved my parents and my parents loved me I strove to obey, I did not strive to obey to gain the relationship. We would consider these terrible parents why would we see God this way.

When I obeyed my parents it was because I knew it was to protect me from harm, I think it is the same with God, we still have a will and we can disobey, He still loves us ....He does not make us unjustified but He can chasten us and sometimes even remove us from this earth.

Our point of entry and reason is the worthy walk, not for salvation, that is done...Paul talks on this.

"that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him" (Colossians 1:9-10).

How can we please Him if what we do is not from a place of freedom?

Do we serve a task master.....No..... we serve a God who tells over and over He is Love.

He will never accept you. You have to accept him. WHat church do you go to??
Jesus has to accept us.

Acts 10:35 but that in every nation those who fear Him and live good lives are acceptable to Him.

Acts 15:8 God, who knows the heart, showed that he accepted them by giving the Holy Spirit to them, just as he did to us.

We do not have the same beliefs on this. We have to obey Jesus to get saved and to stay saved. Even repenting of sins is obedience.

Well, you have missed the Gospel then, since it is clear we do not put God in our debt by our works.

Umm ...No

John makes it very clear we are called to believe in Jesus as Saviour to be saved
...if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you; Matthew 6:14

...if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins; Matthew 6:15

The debt is our cleaning ourselves. No one cleans themselves anymore.

We still have to obey God; we just don't have to get circumcised in the flesh and sacrifice animals anymore.

The Bible says obeying Jesus is love.

No one loves God if they are not obeying Jesus.

Would you like the scriptures?
Your premise is wrong therefore everything seems to be going sideways as well.

Salvation is not earned, it is a gift, that is irrevocable.

No one can obey Jesus unless they have the gift first.

The old law condemned anyone who did not obey every word.

Moses made them confirm this with an Oath. And paul re-itterated that in Gal 3.

No one was ever made clean by the law. That was never its purpose.
Amen....the law condemns and NO ONE IS MADE JUST by obeying it because ALL ARE ALREADY GUILTY....
