I put the yoke on because Jesus asks me to.
You said I do it to gain salvation. I have not said that or implied it.

So why are you telling me something personal about myself that you do not know?
Can you admit this is what you are doing, and you do not know me, and I have not
said I do what you are claiming?

Are you interested in honesty or just pushing your views?
Ok lets put your money where your mouth is,

Do you believe salvatin can be lost if we are not obedient?

A sad reality. To believe one is caught in sin everyday.
If this was so, one would be confessing sin and repenting all the time.

But this is not what the apostles were doing with Jesus. And Jesus declared them clean.
Paul describes himself as holy, pure, blameless.

You are witnesses, and so is God, of how holy, righteous and blameless we were among you who believed.
1 Thess 2:10

If what some believe about sin is true, Paul would write, of how through sinning, Gods grace worked to
cover over our sins, which you know were present and clearly demonstrated, with His gracious love and
forgiveness. But Paul does not write this.
Interesting, one would be confessing and repenting all the time.

Now I assume that you are not sinless.
Tell me if I'm wrong.
But if not how as a believer who sin does confessing and repenting work.
What does it mean to you?

My point was John teaching that "remaining" is an indicator they are saved...........those who leave....not saved
Thanks for your responses
Many imposters remain too???

I wonder if they are saved because they remain??

It is impossible. Your not God,
It would be good for your soul, for you to stop thinking you can be, and start instead focus on loving others.
So you believe it is impossible to walk like Jesus.

Paul did.

Follow my example, as I follow the example of Christ.
1 cor 11:1

And that my friend finishes our interaction.
You deny Pauls testimony and the bible in one simple statement.
I cannot share anymore, because what is the point with an unbeliever that Jesus saved us to walk like Him.
I asked if anyone knew a church agreed with this position, I do not.

"Aim at perfection"

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus,
so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 15:5-6

I am glad to know unbelievers cannot touch my relationship with Jesus, through the shield of faith
and the breast plate of righteousness. Thank you Jesus.

The truth is I am not confessing and repenting all the time.
There have been periods when I have wondered what more I needed to learn.
But I was young then, and my heart very defended.

So many feel guilt and are in an unhealthy cycle with behaviour.
I am not. So I cannot add more, because this is my experience.

Here is my view

I desire to walk like God because i love him, i do not expect anything in return

I do not expect those works to save me, or maintain my salvation, because I know my works never can, no matter hiw many I do, or how god i am, imwill still deserve hell.

I do not expect my works to be rewarded, even thouh God promises me crowns or precious stones, if i got what i deserved i would get hell, so I do not expct anything

I do not expect blessings on earth for being like christ, christ suffered severe persecuation and hardship because of what he did, what makes me think I deserve more?

I am not saying i am perfect at this, there are times when i see people who have things i want, and i can’t have, even though they live in sin, or are not walking like me, and i do not always handle this well (that is where discipleship comes in, so i can confess this and find healing) but i know this is satan, and i have a choice, let it destroy me (his goal) or set my mind on my destiny (eternal life) and like paul, write my suffering off as a momentary light affliction. Of course, if i am not eternally secure (OSAS) then i can never have this HOPE, because nothing is assured.

Does anyone disagree with this?

Paul is now, because it is imossible for him to sin

Rom 7 shows paul did not while he lived. And he would never think he could

He was closer than you and I i can assure you, but exactly like christ (perfect in all things?). No

As jesus said, why do you call me good, only God is good, is paul God?

So god using guilt to help discipline you is a bad thing

Thanks.. thanks for taking away tools God can use to help discipline child

Our interaction has stopped, my friend. What is the point if you do not believe Jesus
can make you like Him and empower you to walk as He walked?

Without faith we have nothing. Without believing Jesus we do not have eternal life.

Do you want me to disbelieve what Jesus promised and shown through the cross?

Sad. Unbelief finds many justifications and says why sinning is ok to compromise with.
Paul describes victory through the Spirit, where before he faced failure through the law.

But then only believers see this as they see reflected in Pauls life their own.

I do believe in the power

And as usuall, when push comes to shove you run, why cant you answer the question?

Can you lose salvation?

Why did you skip my testimony and go here? (Why i am obedient? Was it to much for you?

You yell at me for justifying sin when i never have, i confess my sin, accept guilt, and put it in Gods hands. Unlike others who blame shift, ignore when a broher or sister is admonishing them, and then attack ohers saying they are guilty..

Who is the one excusing sin here?

As a side note, I showed you what you said and what I was.
You have not apologised or said you were wrong in my reasons for taking the yoke of Jesus.

You then just declare your beliefs.
So that is all you desire, not to know or reach others just dictate your view on to others like
myself.

Enough said.

Can you show me were i am in error? Or what i said was bad?

Why are you blame shifting once again? Why can you not answer simple questions.

All i did was ask you to put your money where you mouth was and prove you really believe what you say (you still have not answered?)
