You still have the old man?
Have you not been converted after repentance?
Conversion comes after repentance.
God changes our heart condition.

Colossians 3:5-9
Do not lie to one another, since you laid aside the old self with its evil practices, Therefore consider the members of your earthly body as dead to immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry. For it is because of these things that the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience,
Colossians 3:9-10
and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him--
Ephesians 4:22-24
that, in reference to your former manner of life, you lay aside the old self, which is being corrupted in accordance with the lusts of deceit, and that you be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and put on the new self, which in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of the truth.
Romans 6:6
knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;
Galatians 5:25
If we live by the Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit.
1 Peter 2:1
Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander,
1 Peter 1:14
As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,
1 Peter 2:24
and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
[Please notice that Peter, an Apostle of Jesus....states above that WE ARE to RIGHTEOUS.

1 John 1:6-7
If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth; but if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
