Your purpose here is obvious -- 1. Attack and falsely accuse those who promote OSAS 2. Promote salvation by works.
Do YOU promote OSAS?
Are you even aware of what it means??

ONCE SAVED ALWAYS SAVED....

NO MATTER WHAT.

I'm not a farmer but done the accounts for an arable farmer.

An awful lot of work has to be done before they can even plant the seed.
Then seeded and crop grows.

When the ploughing season is over then the field is then fallowed.
Yes of course, however there is naturally good soil, it is receptive, if all soil is the same then it would seem to me there is no point to the parable.

Granular soils with a loamy texture make the best farmland, for example, because it holds water and nutrients well.

Having said this, it does not mean that I am arguing that the good soil is without sin, which @Macabeus seems to think that I am implying, which is really outside of the whole point of the parable.

No...we argue with your obedience laced and embellished salvation that can be lost like a euro at the local park and then regained by what you do........make no mistake Fran....this is our argument and why you and I will never agree...........and the truth....the above view taints many of your other views as well
It's OK D....we don't have to agree.

I WILL continue to say that God requires our obedience...
If you don't agree...you don't agree.

I do wish you wouldn't call obeying God an "embellishment"...
It doesn't seem like an embellishment to me...it seems like something God wants from me,,,a believer.

He requires nothing, no embellishments from non-believers/ they're lost anyway.

You've said this to me before H, and I posted it and you ignored it.
I'm not a bouncing ball, you know.

If it says FALL AWAY....what do YOU think we're falling away from?
What did Jesus come to teach us anyway?
I didnt ignore it!

I just dont understand your response.

I know it says fall away, but you can fall away from right doctrine, all sorts of things. I'll believe you if I see fall away from faith or fall away from salvation!

The Church the Lord is building.
Does that translate to: you dont attend church atm? I understand if you dont want to answer.
Many churches have gone apostate so I dont blame ya if you cant find a good one to attend!

Im new here but I have to say I don't like or agree with all the name calling on this thread, when we result to name calling it Stops The conversation rather than push it forward to edification. and if our goal isn't to help each other and edify we probably have the wrong spirit

So saying that the word MUST is offensive and/or the word NECESSARY is offensive, is, by default, agreeing with OSAS.
Yes it is offensive but by default is not agree with OSAS as you define it and which you know given what you define it as is the very definition I disagree with.

Oh well I have said it many times yet you continue to accuse me off it.

Take it up with Google translate <----that is what I used to translate NONE into Italian
LOL

I don't have to take it up with Google Translate.
I was born here and speak Italian.

Here's your Italian lesson:

Nessuna refers to nouns....female nouns
Nessuno drops the "o" ..... male nouns

When speaking about people,,,like in this thread...it's nessuno---mix of male and female.
If it's only a group of females ,,,then it's nessuna.

There's more but I think you get the picture.

I'd like to use this opportunity to say that THIS is why Greek lexicons are VERY LIMITED in how we understand "the Greek".

If we don't speak Koine Greek,,,we shouldn't be discussing it.
We simply don't know enough...even if we studied it our knowledge will be incomplete.

First of all I don’t use the phrase “lose salvation”, but rather say the person will become lost.

Secondly, of course we are to obey our Lord.

His Gospel
His commandments
His doctrine

He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 1 John 2:4

You misunderstood or I misspoke....
Being that OSAS means what it does,,,it makes sense he wouldn't respond to you.
Ok I apologise, yes I have misunderstood and I'm sorry.

Disregard my other posts as well please.
All based on your sentence.

I couldn't agree with you more.

That image is this:

Isaiah 5:20
20Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

It's just that I'm so tired of posting it and I thought the image was worth a thousand words.

It seems to me that those here that say we are to obey God are called evil...
And those that say it doesn't matter, are called the righteous by Jesus' death.
We all believe in Jesus.....so I think obeying God is important.

Worldly music, worldly tv, worldly internet, worldly relationships, ... are those who promote sin, immortality, unrighteousness and the like.

Does what you watch and listen to and the relationships you keep, move you closer to God or away from Him?
