@TruthTalk

you've conveniently disappeared?
Please answer the following from my ignored post to you no. 83,632.
Thanks.

Cool image.
Guess you can't wait to answer my verses....

As I've done with yours, Now can you please reply to the following verses that show that we can once again become lost AFTER we have been saved.....
If you can, of course....
You had 14, I'll list 14. And if you can handle it,,,there are MANY MORE.....

1.
Matthew 10:22
22“You will be hated by all because of My name, but it is the one who has endured to the end who will be saved. "

2.
Hebrews 10:26-27

26For if we go on sinning willfully after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire which will consume the adversaries.

3.
2 Peter 2:20-22
20
For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
21For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them.
22It has happened to them according to the true proverb, “A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT,” and, “A sow, after washing, returnsto wallowing in the mire.”

4.
John 8:31

31So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him, “If you continue in My word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; "

5.
John 15:6

6“If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. "

6.
Matthew 5:13

13“You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled under foot by men. "

7.
Romans 11:22

22Behold then the kindness and severity of God; to those who fell, severity, but to you, God’s kindness, if you continue in His kindness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

8.
Colossians 1:22-23

22yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach— 23if indeed you continue in the faith firmly established and steadfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel that you have heard, which was proclaimed in all creation under heaven, and of which I, Paul, was made a minister.

9.
1 Corinthians 9:27

27but I discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified.

10.
2 Peter 3:17

17You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men and fall from your own steadfastness,

11.
1 John 2:24

24As for you, let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.

12.
Mathew 7:19

19“Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire."

13.
Luke 9:62

62But Jesus said to him, “No one, after putting his hand to the plow and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

14.
1 Corinthians 15:1-2

1Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand,
2by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain.

I thank you for a reply that explains each one.

Another worldly example that falls short....

A son by birth will always be a son by birth......NOTHING can change that and the gifts and calling of God are IRREVOCABLE.......you obviously do not care to understand that word and or just flat reject it because you are too proud to accept the truth
I listed 14 verses that prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that SONSHIP could be lost.
Would YOU care to reply to Truthtalk's post?
He doesn't seem to be able to.

@Macabeus is right.
You DO NOT answer questions.

Let us know when you've stopped sinning.
Oh, so now you're questioning Jesus' words? Do you think His command was unreasonable?

This right here shows how warped your theology is. Of course, Jesus knows that sin will be committed. SO DO YOU THINK THAT JUST MAYBE He meant stop living in rebellion, like maybe stop PRACTICING SIN, like I said before, and you did not li
Let us know when you've stopped sinning.
LOL, Jesus said it "sin no more", not me. You have a tendency to argue with the scriptures.

Anyways, of course I admit that I sin. But when I sin, I repent, confess it to God, and He picks me back up. I don't sit there wallowing in sin like a pig. So if you repent, confess, and let God pick you up, then we can agree. But don't say a person can die wallowing in sin like a pig and go to heaven. And that is exactly what DC hinted.

You did not prove anything.....I do not care if you post 5000 verses.....they cannot, nor will they alleviate the truth of what I posted....

The GIFTS and CALLING of GOD are IRREVOCABLE.......end of story......and just like our "convo" we had the other day......you know the one....the one where I actually believed you might be open to the truth and the fact that the bible does not contradict itself....and if salvation was losable or one could walk away lost the bible would not have the hundreds of verses it has IN CONTEXT that teaches a salvation that is eternally GIVEN and IRREVOCABLE

The salvation of our souls is NOT A GAME.
Maybe it is to YOU....
but not to me.
John 3:3 -
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

I already have the truth.
But thanks anyway.

I DO believe I'll follow my LORD AND SAVIOR, Jesus The Christ.
Some like Him as Savior....but He must be our Lord too.

Why can I reply to 14 verses with no problem.
and neither you nor Truthtalk are able to ??
How about showing us all how right you are in your teachings?

Please stop with the Greek.
It doesn't help you any.

How about posting the scripture you want to discuss about irrevocable since I'm sure you've got it wrong...

And I'll actually reply to it....
unlike what you do.

OK, agreed. But YOU AND I are not talking about the possibility of losing salvation. We are talking about the danger of false conversions ...and you still have not answered, who does the second son represent in Matthew 21 represent? Apparently, you know the answer does not fit you paradigm, so you refuse to answer.

I actually am in agreement with you that if a person is truly saved it is eternal and they are kept by the power of God. But you seem to think such a person can die wallowing in pig filth like a prodigal and still be saved. I say that the bible teaches that God's grace teaches us to deny ungodliness, so sons will deny ungodliness and stop wallowing in pig filth like a prodigal, if not sooner, at least later.

AND don't forget, that there is NO BASIS for saying that the prodigal (who represents publicans and sinners coming to Jesus) was saved BEFORE he/they came to Jesus. The context of the passage does not support that, and the sons in Matthew 21:28-32 were not saved either. The use of the word "son" in a parable is not equal to born again, as has been clearly demonstrated.

That's why you won't answer the million dollar question

I don't want to gang up on you, so I will step out. If you want to ever answer a simple question, let me know.

When I said that you will not defend your position when pressed, I was correct, and you have demonstrated it better than anyone else ever could.

Mathew 21:28-32
The parable of the Two Sons

28“But what do you think? A man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, ‘Son, go work today in the vineyard.’
29“And he answered, ‘I will not’; but afterward he regretted it and went.
30“The man came to the second and said the same thing; and he answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he did not go. 31“Which of the two did the will of his father?”

They said, “The first.” Jesus said to them, “Truly I say to you that the tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the kingdom of God before you.
32“For John came to you in the way of righteousness and you did not believe him; but the tax collectors and prostitutes did believe him; and you, seeing this, did not even feel remorse afterward so as to believe him.

The first and second son only represent what Jesus asked...
WHO DID THE WILL OF THE FATHER.

The first son did the will of the father.

If you notice, there is no language such as "born again" or anything resembling that...
Why?
Because Jesus said we must be born of above...
John 3:3

And then He continued His 3 plus year ministry to TEACH US HOW to please God because we ARE born from above and are expected to obey our new FATHER in heaven.

First of all, I'm not catholic.....speak about liars...you just never stop.

Those that say Lord Lord are the ones who DO NOT make it to heaven....
and Jesus tells us why....because they were lawless.....they did not follow the law....the Law of Christ.
Mathew 7:23

If you notice, once again Jesus mentioned NOTHING about being born again.
Because He EXPECTS those that are born from above,,,John 3:3....to OBEY their new FATHER in heaven.

Your "direct quotes" are NOT quoting scripture.
Please state book, chapter and verse.
Like I do for you...and you went to seminary?

IF you do, I'll happily show you why your teaching on the irrevocable is FALSE.
