Sons of God and Daughters of Adam......Literally......regardless.....Adam was a son of God, after that they are referred to as the sons of men....until the N.T. when the concept of the Son or sons of GOD comes online.............ALL that disregard the language used in Genesis will argue this point away......while claiming to be experts in the languages I might add...............

the Bible indicates Sons of God as fallen angels...having left their first estate...which would be dwelling in the presence of God

there is no other way to read it or understand it that I can see but there are 2 camps on it anyway with various scriptures being given as evidence that the reference to Sons of God is not angels
I believe that is not correct but this is not a hill to die on...however, it will give a person a different worldview depending on which one of the beliefs they hold

The concept is clear when one considers the fact that it states the SONS of GOD and the Daughters of Adam..........and the other verbiage tied to the concept that we know this points to....such as ALL flesh corrupting itself and the tie in in JUDE to the men of Sodom going after strange flesh......but hey......even though we believe in a book that states a man rose from the dead, a God that speaks things into existence, angels and heavenly creatures we cannot POSSIBLY accept that Giants came about through the unholy union of women and fallen angels.....EVEN though the men of Sodom sure wanted to rape them when they appeared as men hey....

before the flood, it seems an awful lot went on that we do not read about...not in the 66 books of the Bible anyway....and I have not read much of the books that were not included in our canon
but I mean it seems pretty clear IMO
I think some folks might be checking under their beds every night if they actually believed what they read in scripture

I do not understand how it happened, but it had to be the fallen angels, whether they appeared in flesh, or they possessed the men, and had sex through them with the women.
For the conditions that occurred as a result can only happen if they were influenced by the fallen angels.
Gen 6:4 There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
I do not believe that those conditions could of occurred if it had been the sons of God as mere men with no interaction from the fallen angels.
For they were continually evil, and they produced people that were mighty men of old, men of renown.
But I would like to know who these men of old, men of renown are, for it seems as if it produced people that has not been on earth from the time of Adam and Eve, until that time.
Also if the sons of God are referring to humans as of Adam's offspring, or that they were following God, then how could such wickedness occur where they were continually evil.
For it is not as wicked today because people are not continually evil like at the flood, and the Bible says that people will be more self exalting at the end time than in time past, which Paul said evil men shall wax worse and worse, and Jesus said since iniquity shall abound the love of many shall wax cold.
And it is still not as bad as at the flood, so it had to be the fallen angels that interacted with the people to cause such wickedness that God had to flood the earth, for people on their own without a great influence by the devils would never be so wicked.
When Satan is in the bottomless pit there is peace on earth, for the devils do not influence at all, and right now Satan is on a leash so people are not wicked all the time, and rebellious, and many people do much good towards other people, even atheists.
So it had to be the fallen angels as the sons of God for there to be such terrible wickedness.
Which Jesus said His coming back will be like the days of Noah, not only that people are carrying on their normal daily activities, and not giving heed to the preaching of the coming impending doom to those who are not with God, but that the devils will interact with mankind, and they will be continually wicked like the time at the flood, and once again God will interact and put them down like He did at the flood, and this time with fire that melts their bones off their flesh.
For when the world follows the man of sin, New Age Christ, and they take the mark of the beast, which has to do with technology according to the beast's agenda of how to have peace on earth, then repentance, and salvation, are no longer available to the world, when the fulness of the Gentiles have come in.
The man of sin is controlled by Satan, and he loses his human will to fight against it, for he gave in to the occult, and followed Lucifer, and knew what it took to be the New Age Christ will all the cruelty that comes with it to establish a kingdom based on the occult, and evolution, and no personal God.
So Satan was able to control him completely to do his will of trying to destroy as many people as possible, even the man of sin that he possesses, and if the man of sin had the human will there to think for himself, he would of never let Lucifer go that far as to try to wipe out everybody for then he would have no kingdom, and no worship.
Which the Bible says that God shall send them strong delusion that they should believe a lie, and follow the beast, which is a delusion they cannot snap out of, for they will be deceived by a devil to follow the beast, and when they take the mark of the beast that is the last decision that they will ever make according to their human will, for then the human will is gone like the man of sin, and they now have the nature of a devil, and the world again will be continually evil where God has to put them down like He did at the flood, for they are a people now of no value for salvation for they have no more human choice.

sons of the Most High are heavenly beings. they are created by the Most High and not a product of this world. Adam and Jesus were sons of the Most High.
Jesus also teaches (Luke 20) sons of the Most High do not die. im not aware of any men, of this world, that are immortal.

Jesus teaches that believers can become sons of the Most High. when you are born of this world you are a man but through the teachings of Jesus can ascend to a son of the Most High.

Sons of God refers to messengers of the gospel of God both those seen and those not seen as administering spirits .
I would think the key to understanding the difference between using the Son of gods seeing it could get mistaken for the angels that left their first place of habitation as prior before the veil was rent coming with the angel who did not deny the power of god as the presence of God .

Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
All who are not led by the Spirit of God are not sons of God.
