HAHAHAH had to look that one up.......No, I don't believe he does.........we look at time in a linear way....to God day one of creation to the last day is as but yesterday.......it was all done before the casting down of the world and I have always viewed the book of the living from the standpoint that everything is recorded....from the hairs of one's head to the number of sparrows that will fill the sky.....it speaks of God's treasuries of snow, lightning and even hail.....It was all done and finished before the casting down of the world....God is just waiting for time (or so to speak) to play out......in his eyes it is already all done.......
Of course he doesn't.
If he needed a bottle of Tipex then basically he has to blot out a mistake.
If that's the case then he has made a mistake.
Does he make mistakes?
Does he invite us to dance the Hokey Coky dance?
He certainly does not.
Imagine the conversation in heaven.
Jesus to God
Hey Bill has just placed his faith in me
God to Jesus
Great let's have a party and I'm just going to write his name in the book of life.
Jesus to God
Oh dear, he has not done enough good works, not been obedient enough this week.
God to Jesus
Where is the Tipex? Thanks son now he is blotted out.
Jesus to God.
Bill has done well this week, lots of works.
God to Jesus.
That's good now can you pass me a pen. I will write him back in the book again.
So we can repeat the cycle again and again.
Romans 10:9-13
9 If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. 11 As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”12 Jew and Gentile are the same in this respect. They have the same Lord, who gives generously to all who call on him. 13 For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Ephesians 2:8-10
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
Hebrews 7:24-26
24 But because Jesus lives forever, his priesthood lasts forever. 25 Therefore he is able, once and forever, to save those who come to God through him. He lives forever to intercede with God on their behalf.
26 He is the kind of high priest we need because he is holy and blameless, unstained by sin. He has been set apart from sinners and has been given the highest place of honor in heaven.
