and it says the word was god too and became Flesh . what is your point? That Jesus the Son is God amen ans that God the Father is God amen

Jesus sitting on the right hand of God the Father[2] beings

You have a distorted view of God my friend. I once was where you are now. When I saw the word ‘God’ in the Bible, I thought it was referring to the Father. I once held to a modalistic view of God. Then that view became Arianism later. Finally, by God’s grace, He(pneuma...Spirit not ‘it’) opened my eyes to see a Triune Godhead...one God, three Persons.

Are you saying that the Word was not with God in the beginning?
No. I am saying the Word has always been with the Father. You viewing the Spirit as an ‘it’ causes you to have a distorted view of God, my friend.

The Word, Jesus, is with God now. So what point are you trying to make my friend? He is seated on the right hand of the Father with God now.

My Point? again I was replying to someone who said Jesus was created,
but the bible says Jesus as the Word was With God [the Father] from forever.

That’s correct. But you’re placing an ‘it’ on the Holy Spirit when Jesus plainly called Him a person is quite troubling.

I didn't realize there was so much confusion on the trinity.

I thought this was pretty well sorted about 1700 years ago, by the time we got to the Council of Constantinople.


This is like arguing with atheists.
They'll often pose some "new and impossible dilemma", having no idea the question first surfaced over 2500 years ago, and it's already been soundly answered for millennia.

If you have studied church history, you know there were a BUNCH OF different ideas floating around about who Jesus was.
At one point Arianism was the majority, today Trinitarianism is the majority.

32 John testified saying, “I have seen the Spirit descending as a dove out of heaven, and He remained upon Him.(John 1 NASB)

32 καὶ ἐμαρτύρησεν Ἰωάννης λέγων ὅτι Τεθέαμαι τὸ πνεῦμα καταβαῖνον [a]ὡς περιστερὰν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ, καὶ ἔμεινεν ἐπ’ αὐτόν·(John 1)

Pneuma is neuter, but that does not mean He(the Holy Spirit) is an ‘it’. Pneuma is used in John 4:24 is reference to God. Is God an ‘it’, too, my friend?

Sin in Greek is hamatia, and is feminine. Does that mean only females sin?

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,(Romans 8:16). Himself, not an ‘it’ my friend.

16 αὐτὸ τὸ πνεῦμα συμμαρτυρεῖ τῷ πνεύματι ἡμῶν ὅτι ἐσμὲν τέκνα θεοῦ.(Romans 8)
