oops, I'm not a scientist in any way, but I know of a scientist on cc.com,
everyone give a warm welcome to @posthuman

today at work i formed an hypothesis, designed an experiment to test it, carried out the first phase, collected and interpreted the results, and used them to inform how to carry out the second phase tomorrow
i am the unofficial CC mathematician. PM me your calculus homework and i'll do it, no questions asked haha
i know we have computer-scientists and engineers here, too, tho i can't remember anyone's names off top of head
I think it is so cool and encouraging to know that there are those who have studied science extensively and still come to the accurate conclusion of God, especially when it is because of what science has proved.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

my experience has been that there are far fewer atheists in science than 'common Christian wisdom' leads us to believe, though they may only be agnostic or deist. this is especially true about people in life sciences. the fact is that there are atheists also, and that many of these atheists are very loud and outspoken 'evangelists' of a sort that dominate the airwaves & because they tend to be very clever and persuasive men, sharply critical of arguments, they can also greatly intimidate others into silence about the subject.
