One elderly man said the two things he had learned in his long life were...

Never pass up a chance to use the restroom...

And never trust a fart.

Life lesson #342

This one is particularly useful at the holidays. NEVER and I mean NEVER loan out a southern woman's dishes without her permission. We have a particular attachment to our dishes. I had a family member (who was not from the south) send home my BEST pie plate with another family member to another STATE. Bless her heart...and nope.

Well, Jesus loves your family member too😄. But I reckon it’s like my dear old grandma used to say: That old ***, she ain’t got all what belongs to her🤭.

Imagine, literally breaking into your kitchen, stealing your best pie plate, sending it out of state with an accessory to the crime, no doubt a yankee, and she’ll probably lose it as well😂.

Good judgment comes from experience, and a lotta that comes from bad judgment.

The quickest way to double your money is to fold it over and put it back into your pocket.

John Wayne once said:

"Courage is being scared to death - and saddling up anyway."

Don't forget to put your coffee cup underneath the coffee maker - unless you're just in the mood to clean something up.
