You can purchase tumeric capsules. Perhaps a health food store can recommend a good brand?

research, research, research - trial and error, for each one of us are made-up differently from one another -
sharing is such a wonderful thing to do, after you have tried various natural remedies, after believing that
the world could give a .... about you unless it benefits them, -

just a short share that has helped hub and myself -
'NEWCHAPTER' Whole Mega Whole Fish Oil, extra virgin wild Alaskan Salmon Oil...
'gaia-Ginko Leaf'...
ZHzZOU organic Black Seed Oil...

just can't explain how these have added to our health, plus all of the other natural ingredients
that we have been taking for decades...

take this share as you will, but in all honesty, without our Heavenly Father leading us into these
remedies for various physical problems, for me, the wife, I would certainly be dead by now or
paralyzed...

another words, it is always beneficial if you recognize your weaknesses and allow and listen
to your Saviour who will lead you in the path of righteousness - maintain your Holy Temple -
doesn't come easy, as we have to 'put off the old man' and obey our Holy Saviour in His
profound Love for each and every one of us...

Supplements - E3 Live's Brain On, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Young livings Brain power, and a good brand oxygen drops.
To go one step further and deeper, if it is available by you, get into a hyperbaric chamber, 3x a week for 10 weeks, and do a round of colonics.
Get the processed foods out of your diet. ALL of it.
Start lifting weights, if you can. Lightly for the first 2,3 months.

Cognitive decline is so vague. It could be one of many things. How old, overweight, sick, active, rested, mentally tested and one’s digestion all play a role. Lack of sleep is the number one cause of decline. Inability to reach healing sleep for long enough periods destroys the brain. Next, stress (cortisol) causes failures directly and indirectly to cognitive function. The remedy is always simple for great brain and body health; eat lots of green vegetables, get enough sleep and tax the body enough to increase heart rate and perspire a few times a week. Supplements for the most part are futile and expensive. Eat healthy food instead. I relate it to going to a prostitute instead of having a healthy relationship with a spouse. God didn’t design our bodies to digest concentrated sources of anything in capsule form.

a very good 'post' Hungry, forgive me for editing', but, please don't try and speak for our Saviour, particularly in today's world -
we are so in desperate need of 'real nutrition', that may-haps some may be inspired to feed themselves with Jesus' help from
His written Words..

Thank you!...

I know that some caregivers of Alzheimer's/ Dementia patients have found adding coconut oil on a daily basis has made a difference in their memory loss.

This type of treatment is only effective if the patients 'remember' to take the coconut oil to prevent memory loss. :)

I totally agree.
It was people who had constant care in a facility, or lived with a family member that benefited from having it daily.
I'd like to make chocolate bites out of coconut oil for my dad to have everyday to see if I notice an improvement. I'm pretty sure he'd eat the whole plate of them at once though and that would create a whole other problem! ;) :poop:

God bless you for looking out for your dad. My dad has been dead for 10 years but my mom is still going at 84 years of age and her mind is still sharp.

In matters of coconut oil there are differences in product sold. You do not want what is called, fractionated coconut oil. Labeled at times as , "MCT" coconut oil. "MCT" oil is great for those who mix their own body oils, for example, with %100 pure aromatherapy oils. (Lavender, Anis Anis, etc...)

It is how it sounds in that that particular coconut oil contains only a fraction of the full active ingredients of what you do want in matters of human consumption. That is extra virgin coconut oil is "food grade" . Which means you can cook with it, or use it as described, for health benefits.

Turmeric in tea sounds good. Just add sugar.
Don't add sugar. Sugar is an excitotoxin .
link:Is sugar an excitotoxin?

Here is a link that helps with review of one's diet. Many things we consume can lead to debilitating conditions.
https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/natural-health/6-dangerous-excitotoxins/
Excerpt:
"5. Cysteine
Industrially created by hydrolysis of human hair and poultry feathers, this excitotoxin is important for artificial flavor creation. It reacts with sugars in a process known as the Maillard reaction, resulting in meaty and savory flavors. High cysteine levels are associated with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. [7]

There is a great book about Excitotoxins. Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills By Russell Blaylock, M.D

Herbal teas are better for the medicinal properties absorption into your blood stream if they're taken straight. No sweeteners. But if you have to use a sweetener, as Tumeric is quite a bit to take straight, please consider honey.
