After Saul met Samuel, he met prophets coming from Shiloh. They prophesied and he prophsied. Those prophecies are not written in the Bible and were not added to the book of Revelation. Why would a prophecy today have to be added to the book of Revelation.
I am not suggesting that others did not prophesy, prophecy . Obviously what they were moved by God to say this or that ....God did not move men to be written down.
It is no different than God moving Enoch. It does not mean there is a lost book of Enoch... fill in the blank pages
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.Jude 14-15
The Catholics use that kind of ideology to try and make the oral traditions of their fathers to rise above that as
it is written . They use Peter in the last chapter of John saying that if God wrote down all of His prophecy. I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written.
But Christ did not perform those words because he did move Peter to prophecy as a false prophet but because he did not it was a sign against Peter. It was the same kind of intent by which Satan moved Peter in Mathew 16 in a hope to destroy the integrity of God's word, as
it is written
Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.
Then went this saying abroad among the brethren,
that that disciple should not die:
yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which,
if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen..john 21:22-25
Rumors do not constitute God has spoken.
