Now, reading your post again, if you mean that the heart is deceitful

Jeremiah 17:9 King James Bible
The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Then what we must do is not live by the heart, but by the Spirit of God to guide us. He is the one to convince us of sin, the one who knows our heart. If we follow our heart we will make many mistakes, but if we follow the Word of God then there are no mistakes to be made, for He knows better than us.
