In the other thread "Rom. 8:9 and the Salvation journey " we were able to establish a starting point at the beginning of the Salvation process . At that starting point we agreed that as the result of not having been given the Holy Spirit yet , Christ , His Word , and the promises there in are not ours yet either .

In this thread , part two of the Salvation journey , we will attempt to agree on the next step of this journey , and the state in which we are in at that point . This is a simple step , so i hope we can come to a quick agreement and move onto the next step , or drag it out for another 3 pages . If I can't get at least one person to agree with the understanding I'm presenting , I'll stop at that point .

Step two is the act of " repentance " . This act of repentance is simply a turning from , to . Repentance is turning of our mind from our way , to His way . Or also can be understood , as a turning from our way to the direction of the one calling us , the Father to Christ .

1) this act of repentance " is not " an act of Faith that would result in recieving the Spirit of Christ .

2) at this point in the Salvation process , still have not received the Spirit of Christ . So Christ , His Word , and the promises in His Word are not ours yet .

Are we still in agreement ?

How many of these until you tell us how to get the Spirit of Christ?

Just tell us. The fact that you've taken this many posts and now threads to keep building up a case, makes my spidey-sense go off to say the least.

I want to know now. We know its not repentance now. WHAT IS IT?

Spidey- sense ? Lol

This thread is meant to share my understanding of the Salvation journey and the states of being along the way .

Doing it step by step this way insures the discussion is moving in the right direction and on the same page . I won't have to back track to show how I came to certain states of being .

As long as I have someone who agrees with the facts I'm presenting ,, I 'll continue to put my understandings on the table to be tested . And how and where we recieve the Spirit of Christ is part of that .

Ok , let's go onto the third step or next step .

The state we are currently in at the beginning of the Salvation journey is ,

1) we are being called , drawn , by the Father to Christ .

2) we have responded to the call by turning from our way , to His way , a mental turn .

3) In this current state of being , we haven't received the Spirit of Christ yet , so Christ , His Word , and the promises in His word are not ours yet either .

So now it's time to take our first step of Faith , a step of Faith from our way , to His way .

What is that step of Faith exactly?

All this is very interesting, please continue... Perhaps you seek some attention, is that the reason you are taking it slow?

I dont know what taking the step of faith is. I believe in Ephesians 1:13 so there is that.

Can you tell us what you believe it is?

What would you do next in the state of being we've agreed upon ?

So you would believe the gospel for your next state of being , or act of Faith ?

No , I would never do that . Just waiting for others to participate , and hopefully put their understandings on the table to be tested , as I am . If a sense there is no interest , I'll just stop . But if this interests you , you haven't heard anything yet .

I hope you'll continue with me .
