The other thing is that I'm on the autism spectrum. Relationships in terms of emotionally connecting is hard for me. I have a hard enough time with my family. And despite my years of attempts to make friends, I haven't had one close friend in years.
Yes, but it's not a natural thing for me. It's kind of hard to explain. I have a better time emotionally relating to animals than people. At least animals are always honest about their feelings. People are complicated.

I wasn't born this super masculine, sexy, tough, fearless man I am today. I had to work on it. I understood the concept of it as a teen, and worked on it, until it was apart of me.

I suggest that you do some research on being on the spectrum. This is not something I can grow out of. I was diagnosed at an early age had to learn how to give and take social cues, which most kids automatically know. Unless God works a miracle, I've got this for life.

Society still has plenty to learn about what it's like to be on the spectrum. Like I said in one of my previous messages, Spock is probably the closest example.

I only saw Star Trek 2009 and Into Darkness. I thought they really got the traits and mannerisms down. I was like, "That, is, it. Thank you! You understand!"

There are different levels of autism. Mine is the closest to quote unquote "normal." That's pretty rare, especially in girls. I find it hard to fit in with most people of autism as well as "normal" people. Spock doesn't fit in with either Vulcans or humans.
Spock's father said it best about people like me. "Emotions run deeply within our race. In many ways, more deeply than in humans. Logic therefore is a defense mechanism. A way to make sure you control your emotions so they don't control you."
