Yep sounds so simple...and yet so true.Yea these are the attributes but those are God business and His alone, surely people need not to practice such things. People should love your brothers and sisters and enemies.

Yup but doesn't it also mention that he chastise his sons. How do you become a son?The reason for the question, I think, is because Christ's doctrine through the inspired scriptures must harmonize. Some thinks God loves all mankind, and some think that he does not love all mankind. I, personally, think that he does not love all mankind. Whom the Lord loveth, he chastens, and scourgest every son he receiveth. If he loves all mankind, then he will chasten all mankind. Ps 73:5, Talking about the wicked, They are not PLAIGED ( divinely punished ) as other men.
My neighboring kids and myself, when I was young would do some bad stuff together and my Dad would give me a spanking, but he would not spank the neighbor kids because they were not his children. That is the same way our heavenly Father does to his children and if they are not his children, he does not punish them until the last day. Yes, discipline shows a love for those who receive it, and God does not love those that have not the Spirit. Romans 8:9, Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he in none of his.John 3:16-17 New International Version (NIV)
16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.17 For God did not send his Son into the worldto condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Like children...you cant punish a child for not knowing (the lost) but because we/He loves His children..there might be consiquences for disobediance..chastening and disciplining are BECAUSE of love..not lack of it...
Eph 2:5, is how you are given new life, born again.Yup but doesn't it also mention that he chastise his sons. How do you become a son?

You sure that's not in Romans 10Eph 2:5, is how you are given new life, born again.

I am under the impression that we become his son's and daughter's when we are born again as stated in Eph 2:5Agreed but how one becomes His son or daughter doesnt answer the OPs question..

2 Pet 3:9, We have to go back to 2 Pet 1:1, to keep it in context to see who Peter is talking to, and it is "to them that have obtained like precious faith". The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward ( Peter is including himself in this warning of being disobedient to God, by using the word "US-WARD" ), not willing that any should perish ( when we are disobedient to God, we separate ourselves from fellowship with God, which in other scriptures, means [death = perish], but that all, (them that have like precious faith) should come to repentance. Any time you find scriptures using the words, repent, trust, confess, accept, believe etc. they have reference to disobedient children of God, not to the unregenerate. John 3:16-17-18- For God so loved the WORLD (greek translation = pertaining to believers only) that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth - [present tense, not will believe - future tense] in him should not perish [die ], but have everlasting life. Pardon me for repeating myself, but you need to re-read 1 Cor 2:14 to see what limits the natural man has.@ForestGreenCook
I posted this earlier
2 Peter 3:9
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance."
John 3 : 16-18
"Why would he be so concerned not wanting ANY to parish if He didnt love them? Just God being friendly? Dont think so...
John 3:16-18 The Message (MSG)
16-18 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him."
God isnt talking about the christians here..ones tgat already HAD accepted Him..pretty clear
I am sorry that you have not been observant of the scriptures that I have given you. If God chastens those that he loves, which you say is all mankind, then why does David say in Ps 73:5 they are not PLAGUED [divinely punished] as other men? Yes, love equals chastening, and if God does not chasten, does that mean he did not love them? Answer- YES. In John 6:39, For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, [that of all which he hath given me ] I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. Jesus said he would raise all (mankind?, no, but all the Father gave him). If God gave him all mankind, and he will lose nothing, will all mankind live in heaven? I don't think that will compute. Please tell me which scriptures I have not explained that you have given me, and I surly will explain them.Good ussumption but God loves the lost and unsaved..thats the reason Jesus died..not for the SAVED people..we ALL were lost at one time..God didnt start loving us just when we become savedwe became His SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN HIM at that time and thats why He CHASTENS us after that fact...LOVE EQUALS CHASTENING..remember? Ive said all this 3 times..given you scripture and you still fail to acknowlege anything regarding it
First of all, read 1 Cor 2:14 to get an understanding of the limitations that the natural man has, in the fact, that he cannot discern spiritual things, until he has been born of the Spirit. Romans 10, Paul is praying to God for Israel that they may be saved (delivered) from their lack of knowledge. He says that they have a ZEAL (the natural man cannot have a zeal of God) of God, but not according of knowledge, for they are going about to establish their own righteousness, by working the works of the old law (like most on this forum are doing). Paul further tells them if they will listen to the word he is preaching, confess and believe it is by God's grace and not by their works that they shall be saved (delivered from the sin of believing in their works). The natural man cannot confess of a spiritual law that he does not understand. Anytime you see scriptures that are using the word's, confess, repent, believe, accept, etc. they will be referencing the disobedient child of God, not the natural man.You sure that's not in Romans 10
Romans 10:9
If you declare with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

Jesus died to do the will of his Father. His Fathers will was for Jesus to die as a sacrifice to God, not to man, for the sins of all those that God gave him, and all that he died for will live with him in heaven, without the loss of even one. Tell me this....... Why didn't Jesus die for all mankind?So..tell me this..why did Jesus die?
God lives ALL MANKIND but not ALL mankind will choose to love HIM. And those that CHOOSE not to love Him will not go to Heaven

Psalm 11:5 puts it bluntly: God hates wicked people. “The LORD tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence” (Psalm 11:5). He hates wicked people from his soul, from the very depth of his being. God hates their ways (Proverbs 15:9), their thoughts
(Proverbs 15:26), their worship (Proverbs 15:8), their actions (Proverbs 6:18), and their evil deeds (Psalm 5:5). He singles out as a special object of his hatred the blasphemous deeds of the Nicolaitans, those who seduced God’s people with idolatry and sexual immorality. “Yet this you have: you hate the works of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate” (Revelation 2:6).
Clearly, God hates the thoughts, deeds, and desires of evil people. But further, in some way he hates the evil people themselves. His soul reacts to them with righteous revulsion as his arm extends toward them in holy fury. But who are the wicked? All of us.
We are all wicked, “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “Just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned” (Romans 5:12).
God must judge the wicked for their rebellion. He must judge them for their evil thoughts, their evil deeds, and even their evil desires. And he will.
God is a righteous judge, and a God who feels indignation every day.If a man does not repent, God will whet his sword;he has bent and readied his bow;he has prepared for him his deadly weapons, making his arrows fiery shafts.Behold, the wicked man conceives eviland is pregnant with mischiefand gives birth to lies.He makes a pit, digging it out,and falls into the hole that he has made. His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends. (Psalm 7:11-16)Said more tersely, “The LORD preserves all who love him, but all the wicked he will destroy” (Psalm 145:20). Psalm 1:5 promises, “the wicked will not stand in the judgment” (5). Indeed, in Luke 13 we find Jesus speaking of that final judgment.
He says that in that day some will expect to be welcomed by God into his kingdom, yet all they will hear is this terrifying judgment: “Depart from me, all you workers of evil” (Luke 13:27)! They will be consigned forever to a place where “there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (28).
God will judge the wicked and give them the fitting punishment for their wickedness.
I find it hard to believe that so many Christians think that God loves everyone unconditionally. The above Bible verses make it clear that He doesn't love everyone unconditionally. The prosperity preachers will never quote any of the above, they know that they would lose 90% of their congregation if they did.
- God hates the workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:5)
- God hates the wicked (Psalm 11:5)
- God hates the sacrifices of the wicked (Proverbs 15:8)
- God hates the ways of the wicked (Proverbs 15:9)
- God hates the thoughts of the wicked (Proverbs 15:26)
- God hates feet that make haste to run to evil (Proverbs 6:18)
- God hated Esau (Malachi 1:1-3; Romans 9:13)
- God hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans (Revelation 2:6)
Most Christians don't want to hear about all of Gods attributes, they are only interested in those which affirm them in their lives of sin. Those Churches which embrace everyone in their sin and affirm them in their immoral relationships are full, the Churches which preach the whole counsel of God are all but empty.
God does not hate me and He never did.Does G-d hate you? If not what do you do to be the type of Christian He does not hate? Or do you trust G-d or just yourself to be good enough to meet the standard, Yeshua…. perfection?
