I think, brethren, that the answer lay outside our personal feelings for what Islam is and is not,
To be able to discern from falsehoods, is not the same as being able to point your finger and pass judgement on a whole race of believers. Surely as many of you will, and do; I believe that Islam is intrinsically flawed, but my opinion is based on countless hours of prayer and study over the actual writ, not on personal bias.
For instance, I do not enjoy the way it depicts Jews, for being a peaceful religion (or faith) it has a way of transforming something beautiful and turning it away from that which it originally was.I do not cast my judgement upon the followers of Allah, for once, he was the same as the God of Abraham and Isaac, but Ishmael fell away from such things, by the fruit of His laboring, I think, we can say this.
However! I do not, as a follower of Christ, condone the way in which we raise our own righteousness above them, for we all fall so short. Certainly, you have never been forced to read a qua'ran and certainly, no Muslim person has come to you in the name of evil. Surely, the evils within our own hearts warp all forms of beauty.
Again though, it is not beauty that we are here to pursue, or discuss, it is not beauty that came to take away the sins of the world. Neither was Christ a simple prophet, for He neither claimed the office of the prophet, nor was he a man alone; but in the fulfillment of the Words of Isaiah, a prophet whom even the Muslims will know, He came as Messiah.
Stop casting each other down, it is the folly and task of fools.
By the fruits of your labors are you to be known upon this earth as Christians, followers of the one True God.
Do you have such little love of His example, that you can take it, claim it, and still somehow manage to speak in hateful derision?
I love each and every person upon this earth, no matter how sadly they fall from grace, for I too, am but a man. I too, am unrighteous.
On the day we go unto judgement, on the day we are swept from this earth, what do you expect God to say to you? When you look into Him who was entrusted the final Judgement, what will He say to you? That you followed His example and His life boldly? Or that you warped what He said, and used it to your own means?
We all understand that Muslims and Christians, and Jews are at polar opposite ends of faith; one the fruit of Ishmael, the other of Isaac... Why then, do you ceaselessly war against each other? Arabian Princess is my friend, do not cast her down for keeping safe those people whom she loves; do you think your own kind fall somehow less short because they worship with a 'christian' title? I tell you, we are slaves to that which we obey; and it is of no man to pass his judgment upon his brother... It is not our right, nor our purpose... There are so many among the world's house of god whom claim a christianity they are not given unto. So so so many, and you know this much brethren.
I am sure, there are still those whom laugh and scoff at my words, true though I have spoken. Fine, go, and do as you all will to each other, but I follow the one true Christ, so take my other cheek I turn to you; and with the tongues of vipers continue to spew such foolish things.
Blessed are the meek, blessed are those who come in The Name of The Lord,
Love, your brother in Christ,
