Well, all things are possible to them that believe. Kinda like that one member who posted "first off, THERE IS NO PRIVATE INTERPRETATION of scripture:" as if we are bound to his prophesy of scripture that there is no private interpretation of scripture. {Just between you and me he is real sensitive so he will start gnashing and foaming at anything but I am probably preaching to the choir}
But remember what is written in John 3:11 regarding what they know, not what one believes and what they seen, not ones imagination.
Yet the important part of 1 John 2:26-27 is verse 28
And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
2 Cor 4:18
It seems in "these types" of venues, there are
many a "fly, on the wall." )
Joel 2:28
And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
Is been my
"observation", that this "action" from GOD, is something
more, then the
"GIFT Of The Holy Spirit."
32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, "AND IN THE REMNANT" whom the Lord shall call.
At
least 3 times, over the course covering roughly 15 years of my life prior to these 30+ years after I "answered?", I have "heard" this call!
"Are you ready yet?" My answer, in all but, the last call was always: "No, not yet!" This "call" came clear as a bell, to me, in every instance. I dunno how many "born of water" were under God's "protection", from the
moment, we were born, from this "locust army." I only "know?" I am one of 'em!
Joel 2
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the Lord cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
(not LITERALLY...but, INTERNALLY/Spiritually speaking)
11 And the Lord shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the Lord is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, saith the Lord, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the Lord your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.
14 Who knoweth if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the Lord your God?
It's not my call to condemn honest and honorable people who believe and follow Christ, and the Apostle's/Disciple's word's and teachings
(for, I do the same). For the enemy is
Great and POWERFUL! And, is become
"Grossly Underestimated", in the length and breadth of the damage it wreaks!
But, we should be made cognizant, all of us, that the "
Fulness of the Gentiles" is nigh at hand!
The "difference" between "private interpretation", and "personal revelation", reminds me of a story about 3 guys that went out and bought some ice cream. After being served, and come time to pay for it? 2 of the guys didn't have any money. But, the 3rd guy left his money at home. "I'll go home and get the money." he said, "but, don't eat my ice cream while I'm gone!" "We won't!" said the other 2. Well? After awhile, the guy with the money didn't show up, didn't show up, and the other 2 said "maybe we should eat his ice cream, before it all melts." And, a voice came from around the corner saying "I'm not going to go, if you eat my ice cream!"
The "problem" it seems, is not giving unto Christ that which the Father has given Him. It's giving unto the Father that which belongs to HIM!
