Any assertion scripture is unambiguous with only a single possible interpretation demonstrates no more than an unjustifiable literalist vanity. Asserting anyone deserves to die for ‘treating his set-apart name as ordinary’ is beyond vanity, it is to assume the role of the Almighty yourself. Isaiah Ch5:V 21 comes to mind.

Someone somehow has cloned my screen name or somethig to that effect. pLEASE CLICK ON THE REFERencing icon, blue, and see my actual post. Then pleae report that awful post claiming to be mine. God bless you always ...j

You are not going to drag me into any of your contrived contentions. You labeled believers a superstitious simply because they recognize God's titles. You probably cannot tell the etymology of the word god, let alone the true titles from the Word. Please cease and desist.
If you cannot be religious or spiritual at least attempt to be civil.......

The quote above is the text of my post.

Someone has cut and pasted my screen name, then pasted or typed that nasty message, I do not convey such wicked sentiments. All blessings in Jesus Christ...j

instead of making such a fuss, contact a moderator and point out what you think happened

could just be a glitch in the platform

no drama needed

My post above is in response to the person who pointed out that nasty business.

I have reported it already.....God bless you always.

We have the same issue,

YHWH is gods hebrew name, In Greek it is ego eimi, (literally, I - I Am, or the eternal one) his title is messiah,(hebrew) or christos (greek) or christ (english)

No one here knows what adam called god, or what noah even called hm, there are no books in the language they spoke available today. All we have is the hebrew OT, the greek septuagint, and the english OT.

That is the point notuptome was trying to make, and as usual the judiasers have to attack him because they are doing the very thng he is speaking against.

I clidked on the referal back icon an that is not my post.......someone has used it somehow with the text altered. I did not post anything close to what thaqt nasty post says. God bless you and all.

Guys, it appears as if it could have been a simple error in copy and pasting multiple quoted posts into a single post and there is no way to tell if it was intentional.

is there a teaching of Jesus where He pulls the disciples aside and explains to them the importance of the correct pronunciation of His name?

Superstitious nonsense. How many names for God are listed in the bible?

By the Spirit of adoption I am able to address God as Abba Father.

Time to set yourself free from the spirit of bondage.

I call him JESUS....he is good with it.....!

Jesus said this is how to pray....I do not see in JESUS NAME............ AMEN....just saying...........and being facetious

Our Father, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

I agree fully, was just making a point....as a Child of God, Just as JESUS is (THE) we can pray OUR FATHER which is in HEAVEN <---by default the OUR ties us to CHRIST as a child of GOD.

They all called Him by His name. o lesson was yet neessary.
As for today, there is no need to say Yeshua, Yahshua, Jesus, Iesous, Yesu, etc, but it is of the utmost importance people know it means He is the Salvation of God (Yah). Otherwise, they are just parroting a name brainwashed into their heads but not known in thier hearts.
