Question..do men tend to get intimidated by you?
What would they get intimidated about? Because she can take care of herself in a lot of situations? That's encouraging, that a person (man or woman) actually learns about the world enough to do something constructive in a lot of different settings.

Yeah I guess that would intimidate some guys who are accustomed to women who play the "helpless female" card a lot.

You're a woman, and can do all that?
😀 yes. See I was raised old school Texas. Us women had to carry our own. I was hunting, fishing, gardening and riding horses for as far as I can remember. I was raised to be an independent take care of it your self woman. I desire a mate, but not for what he can do for me. Because I desire to share my life with him.

Yes years ago an old fiance, now friend confessed to that. I was engaged once and married once. My ex- that was just a mess. I let him wear the pants. I have no need or desire to out do a man. I can just take care of myself. I would hope he would ask and enjoy my help. And that he would feel secure in knowing if he is not around I can take care of myself. ( he won't have to leave work to come fix a flat, or install a hose ) I have not dated since my divorce. Couple of years me time. I guess i'll find out.
