Okay.. so Jewel said in red, that we forget what "milk of the Word" is and that we try to start baby Christians on "steak" instead. Then YOU said, "as steadfast Christians, we should do the opposite". The opposite of what?

If I understood correctly, Jewel is saying that baby Christians need to be fed milk, not steak. Slave is saying that steadfast Christians should do the opposite by eating steak.

for surrendering, you are surrendering what you are seeing right now, for something that you don't see yet
and it becomes a decision to trust in what you don't see yet

Ok, time for me to speak now - Jewel was referencing blue not me by her own words in PM. She was making a general statement that sometimes not always seasoned Christians can fall into the "familiarity breeds contempt" mode and feed people meat because that is where they are at and neglect to notice the need to feed milk first.

Her statement said otherwise to me in how it was worded (and don't use Blues remarks - they are distorted and not remarked verbatim). The issue doctrinally for me was simple - She had said: "As seasoned christians we forget what ""milk of the Word"" is and want to start baby christians on ""steak"" and they choke or fall away or we lose our patience and compassion..."

So, my issue was in the word "seasoned christian" - in that way I feel a seasoned Christian or a mature Child of God would be more sensitive and willing to give in God's timing the Word in increments associated with their spiritual age as well as have complete compassion and patience in their disposition in Christ as well - that being an infant in Christ with fundamental Scriptures and themes. For they would be more Child-like and humble to the Father based on the Word, and on my testimony alike.

Jewel and I have talked in PM and have no problem with each other in this - and I am now hoping you all understand it to be something in the right context to resolve. I think those who go about serving God without having a close relationship with Jesus can do these things easily - so I pray we all remain in Christ and listen thru the Holy Spirit to His will and timing in all things and become trained in what God would have us parent others in - and how. Amen

grant me the grace to do one thing at a time today <-- in this context, what does "grace" mean?

ok, I admit, it's vain participation, arguing about "salvation topics" on BDF forums is probably the worst thing I can possibly do on cc.com.

However, prayer and meditation would be what I need to practice on, prayer can have the potential of encouraging, bearing spiritual gifts, etc.

hence, prioritizing meditation first

Thats easy to prove isn't it? But again do you have a question for me about what I said?
Hi Dan. I think Blue didn’t specifically have a question for you but merely “agreed” with Jewels “???” comment. It seemed as though she agreed with Jewel as she wanted clarification around your comment too.

But I could be completely wrong and correct me if I am Blue, but that’s how I understood it. Just a misunderstanding, that’s all 👍🏽

I hope you all have had a peaceful day/night. I wonder how Beccs is coping with France winning the cup finals lol.

I just want to encourage you @theanointedsinner to seek God with ALL your heart.....Deuteronomy 4:29 - “But from there you will seek the LORD your God and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul.”

When we surrender, we are also asking God to take complete control of our life in all areas, this also means we are to TRUST in Him and have faith in His Ways and Plans.

I pray that you open your heart to Father and sincerely through the Holy Spirit hear from Him through prayer and His Word. I pray this for all of us on CC as well. In Jesus Name.

Not gonna argue about this, but I DID post both your and Jewel's quotes in their entirety.. Nothing was distorted in what I said, because it was quoted verbatim.. Funny how you PM'ed her to clear matters up, but did not PM me to do the same..

All you had to do to clear this up was post this ^ post last night when Jewel responded with "????" in response to your quote "as seasoned Christians we should do the opposite".. :):unsure:

THIS is precisely why I rarely ask biblical questions on here. No one ever gives me a straight answer for my questions. They always give me roundabout answers, which don't even actually answer whatever I want to know.
