If I understood correctly, Jewel is saying that baby Christians need to be fed milk, not steak. Slave is saying that steadfast Christians should do the opposite by eating steak.
Ok, time for me to speak now - Jewel was referencing blue not me by her own words in PM. She was making a general statement that sometimes not always seasoned Christians can fall into the "familiarity breeds contempt" mode and feed people meat because that is where they are at and neglect to notice the need to feed milk first.
Her statement said otherwise to me in how it was worded (and don't use Blues remarks - they are distorted and not remarked verbatim). The issue doctrinally for me was simple - She had said: "As seasoned christians we forget what ""milk of the Word"" is and want to start baby christians on ""steak"" and they choke or fall away or we lose our patience and compassion..."
So, my issue was in the word "seasoned christian" - in that way I feel a seasoned Christian or a mature Child of God would be more sensitive and willing to give in God's timing the Word in increments associated with their spiritual age as well as have complete compassion and patience in their disposition in Christ as well - that being an infant in Christ with fundamental Scriptures and themes. For they would be more Child-like and humble to the Father based on the Word, and on my testimony alike.
Jewel and I have talked in PM and have no problem with each other in this - and I am now hoping you all understand it to be something in the right context to resolve. I think those who go about serving God without having a close relationship with Jesus can do these things easily - so I pray we all remain in Christ and listen thru the Holy Spirit to His will and timing in all things and become trained in what God would have us parent others in - and how. Amen
