God CERTAINLY "foreknew" His Prophets and Priests, in the O.T.
If one DEFINES "Unconditional Election" as being "God's REMNANT?" One would be correct!
Does God KNOW "Whomsoever WILL, "MAY Come, TO the cross of Christ?" God Forbid! As this would NEGATE His Grace of "ones' ability TO CHOOSE" in the matter!
Meaning? God does know SOME! (His Remnant) These are ones, who have NO choice, no matter how hard, or how much one may, or is able to resist!
There is therefore NO shame, nor, CONDEMNATION for, or in ones' "choosing" Christ! (called) And? in ones' growing and maturing, Christ's AND the Father's HOPE that one, BECOMES a "Remnant!" (chosen) Finding out "along THE WAY, that when looking back on ones' life? That they themselves actually "see" HOW God's "management, if you will", of, and in, that one's life was how they came to the point that they are at present.
After ALL, the 7,000 of "God's Remnant", is not an "actual number!" But, a "Biblical numeric", for those achieving spiritual perfection, becoming "Joint-Heirs" WITH Christ!
THIS, is what people DIDN'T understand, concerning Paul's "teachings/Preaching's" They BELIEVED Paul and those with him were GODS! Which is why Paul stated: "If you "cut" me? I'll BLEED!"
The MAJOR PROBLEM is, this "glass ceiling", which exists, between "flesh and spirit!" Along with the "vanity/lust/pride, etc. etc." in mans' spirit, that "hooks" a man! "If "you can go?" "So can I/WE!" Which is NOT THE CASE! (stated simply, yet not easy). Which is why Jesus told His Disciples, that: Where I'm going, you cannot go!" As the Holy Spirit had not been given unto them.......Yet!
The "water" spoken of by Christ to Nicodemus, is NOT "baptismal water." It is the "water which breaks", when flesh is born.

The missing link that causes a wonder (faith principle) is still missing . Christians cannot create the own kind of sign as a wonder. For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom: But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
