What did God write to the Galatians?
1 You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? 2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? 3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh? 4 Did you suffer so many things in vain—if indeed it was in vain? 5 So then, does He who provides you with the Spirit and works miracles among you, do it by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? (3:1-5)

8 However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. 9 But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? 10 You observe days and months and seasons and years. 11 I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain. (4:8-11)

1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery. 2 Behold I, Paul, say to you that if you receive circumcision, Christ will be of no benefit to you. 3 And I testify again to every man who receives circumcision, that he is under obligation to keep the whole Law. 4 You have been severed from Christ, you who are seeking to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (5:1-4)

We Christians are not subject to the Law of Moses... at all. Rather, we are to live according to the Spirit in us.

Yes every commandment is valid, and every commandment is now incorporated into the Law of Christ.

The Ten Commandments are God's eternal moral and spiritual laws which apply to all humanity. They are within the conscience of all human beings, and they are also written on the hearts and mind of children of God by the Holy Spirit.

At the same time they condemn all humanity as being guilty before God, and are meant to drive sinners to the Savior, since no man can keep them perfectly.
Yes even the ceremonial laws, like remember the Sabbath by remembeing Christ suffed so you could rest, a shadow of the eternal rest of those asleep in heaven waiting for the wake up call. Rise up, receive the promise, the new incorruptible bodies .

Ceremonial laws are used to preach the gospel in respect to the suffering of Christ s before hand to the born old testament saints as those spoken of in Isaiah 53. The Father bruised him for the inequities of all and by His suffering stripes we of healed of eternal debt a eternal suffering. They received the end of faith that came from hearing God just as us on this side of the cross

Today we look back to the suffering of Christ receiving the same end of our new faith, the salvation of our souls

Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.1 Peter1:9-11

For us Christian valid the 10 Commandments still ever. Every Commandment is valid!
Right?
The ten commandments are love towards God, and people, so they must always be obeyed, which love works no ill towards their neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Jesus said a new commandment He gives the saints that they love one another as He loved them, and love their enemies.

Paul said we do not void out the law through faith, but we establish the law, and the law is spiritual, holy, just, and good, which are the moral laws, laws of love.

The ten commandments are spiritual laws, but they could not receive the Spirit in the Old Testament, but we can receive the Spirit in the New Testament and can love people perfectly, which means we love God, for if you do not love a person you can see how can you love God who you cannot see.

We still have a obey the 4th commandment to keep the sabbath day, but it is a spiritual sabbath now, and spiritual rest.

When you receive the Spirit then the kingdom of God is within you, and God said with stammering lips, and another tongue will He speak to these people saying this is the rest wherewith you may cause the weary to rest, and this is the refreshing, yet they would not hear.

And Jesus said take His yoke upon you and you will find rest for your souls.

Physical sabbath given to Israel according to this earth, and the sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath, so the sabbath can change.

Jesus went away to prepare a place for the saints that where He is at the saints may be also, and the saints are strangers passing through the land seeking a better home, one made by God, the New Jerusalem, and the spiritual sabbath given to the saints according to the new heaven and earth.

The spiritual laws carry over from the Old to the New Testament, but Jesus took the physical ordinances of Israel out of the way for they were contrary to us that they had no bearing on spiritual salvation, so let no person judge you in those physical ordinances for a saint does not have to keep them.

We do have to keep the ten commandments for we are to love God, and love people, spiritual laws.

I think in one sence we are subject to the moral laws no differently than a unbeliever, and not the ceremonial laws, as shadow of the moral laws .

The Law of Moses is the perfect or complete law of God. I would think there would be no difference between saying, the "law of Moses", or, the "Law of God" . Its when people try and put a wedge in between, it is when chaos can come in.

As the law of faith ... Moses as the law giver, as that seen, represents our Father in heaven not seen.

Some Christians say they have murdered in the name of God? Or divorced or saved by a lie.

No, we cannot include the ceremonial laws or the Sabbath. We can only include that which God has included (Acts 15:28,29):

For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things; That [1] ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and [2] from blood, and [3] from things strangled, and [4] from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Why was the Sabbath EXCLUDED?

1. Christ is our Sabbath and gives us our eternal Sabbath rest.

2. The Lord's Day -- the first day of the week -- fulfils all the requirements of the Sabbath, if it is observed in the same spirit and with the same objectives.

No wonder you are so misdirected, you have discarded the entire Old Testament.
2Tim. 3:16
"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,"
I said the entire “old covenant” is obsolete, not the entire Old Testament is disregarded.

Hebrews 8:13 - that He says, “A new covenant,” He has made the first obsolete. Now what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away.

Is it ok to murder?
Is it ok to worship any other gods besides G-d?
Is it ok to bear false witness?
Is it ok to commit adultery?
Is it ok to want what other people have and it eat you up inside if you don't have it?
Is it ok to not recognize G-d and treat everyday equal?
Is it ok to treat your parents like all the other people you see as worthless?
Is it ok to worship false gods?
Is it ok to "damn" this and that or in any other way prophanlly use G-d's name?
Is it ok if someone breaks into your home and steal everything (of value); maybe just the sentimental stuff might be ok to steal?

You know what has happened and what is happening still is that trad/nom christians have nailed GOD's Commandments to the cross and then loudly proclaim their own way of keeping them as they see fit and blatantly tearing out the one HOLY day, the SABBATH.

See post #2.

Is it ok to not recognize G-d and treat everyday equal?
Romans 14:5 - "One man regards one day above another, another regards every day alike. Let each man be fully convinced in his own mind."

Colossians 2:16-17 - "Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day--things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ."

Galatians 4:9-11 - "But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain."

Verse 10 clearly states, "you observe...",
days (weekly Sabbaths, corresponding to "Sabbath days in Col. 2)
months (new moons, corresponding to "a new moon" in Col. 2)
seasons (the 7 feasts, corresponding to "festivals" in Col. 2)
and years (the sabbatical year and the 50th year of Jubilee)
*Obviously Paul is clearing speaking about the observances of all Jewish holy day, including the Sabbath.

I see that you still have not made the transition from the old covenant to the new covenant. :(

Colossians 2:14 - Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.

Ephesians 2:15 - Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace.

The natural reading of Ephesians 2:14,15 and Colossians 2:14 would see that the entire old covenant written code was nailed to the cross, including the Ten Commandments (with all the rules and regulations attached to them under the Mosaic Law) which were the center point of the old covenant (Exodus 34:29-34).

*Although the moral principles of 9 of the 10 commandments are reiterated under the New Covenant.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me. - Acts 14:15
2. You shall make no idols. - 1 John 5:21
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - James 5:12
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17
5. Honor your father and your mother. - Ephesians 6:1-2
6. You shall not murder. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 John 3:15
7. You shall not commit adultery. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
8. You shall not steal. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 4:28
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Romans 13:9-10; Colossians 3:9-10
10. You shall not covet. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 5:3

If the law of Moses bears the same relationship to believers today under the new covenant as it did to Israel under the old covenant, in terms of its binding status, then it was not fulfilled, and Jesus failed at what He came to do. On the other hand, if the Lord did accomplish His goal, then the law was fulfilled, and it is not a binding legal institution today under the new covenant.

"He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenantnot of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills...the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone...the ministry that condemns" (2 Corinthians 3:6-9).

The law on our heart and mind is the love of the Spirit, not the law of the letter. This is why Paul tells us that the new covenant is a covenant of the Spirit, and not of the letter.

You must mean to Rest in His Finished Work?

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Or did you mean work at the law?

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

Seems like a pretty easy choice. If there really was a such thing as "free" will I wonder why more people wouldn't make that choice?

=========================================================

one Scripture does not negate another...

(If you Love Me, keep My Commandments.)
Sure it does.

Matthew 5:21-22
21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Following the Lord Jesus Christ is entirely different than following Moses and some "lite" version of Judaism.

Paul describes the 10 commandments as the ministry of Death and Condemnation. But in Romans 8 he states that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

So there is in fact another negation of scripture with other scripture when you have the view that the 10 commandments are for Christians too.

When you realize that the 10 commandments ARE NOT for Christians but only to bring people to Christ, then, and only then, can you see that scripture does not negate other scripture.

Otherwise, you have most of the New Testament contradicting most of the rest of the bible.

Galatians 3:2-3
2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3 Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?
