What I like BEST about going to a Non-Denominational evangelical Church, is NO ONE CAN PIN A LABEL ON ME, except Christian. NOT EVEN Calvinist, will stick, because I only believe in 3 of the 5 points of Calvinist.

Sadly I think more and more people are sick of the denominatial stuff, and going to non denoms, where the focus is on body life and the word and discipleship. Not how to present sunday morning service and denominational infighting

The human spirit is DEAD to GOD, because of the inherited SIN NATURE from Adam. IT HAS TO BE BORN or Birthed by the HOLY SPIRIT, OR IT REMAINS DEAD.

1 John 3:14 (HCSB)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] We know that we have passed from death to life because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death. {The is a reference to a Dead Human Spirit.}

Ephesians 2:4-5 (CSBBible)
[SUP]4 [/SUP] But God, who is rich in mercy, because of his great love that he had for us,
[SUP]5 [/SUP] made us alive with Christ even though we were dead in trespasses. You are saved by grace!
I think the terms "Spiritual death" and "Spiritual life" and what it means to be dead to christ or alive in christ , and born again, are lost someplace in translation for alot of people. Understand this basic truth (what I would consider milk of the word) and a whole lot of doors to spiritual truths are opened.

It sure seems that way....I remember having arguments with close relatives who had this mentality that if it did not carry their particular name brand church that there is no way it could be correct.....such ignorance....

I remember thinking only baptists got to heaven. Then I found out there were all kinds of baptists.. And little by little, I found out many denominations teach the same gospel.. They just differ in other areas. and finally, after my prodigal venture, I cam back non denom.

Like I always say....what do they teach about sin, salvation, immersion and what a church is.......the rest is subject to learning and instruction.....

Every church even nondenominational ones have pluses and minuses. The question is do they teach the gospel and help their members grow to be more and more like Christ Jesus or sink into the world.

I totally disagree. Demonstrate how James 2 is taken out of context? I posted a section of it making sure context was preserved. Therefore to reject his concept that faith without works is dead you must come up with scripture that makes it in error. Waiting to hear from any of you regarding the other scriptures.

You will have to give me your source for complete bible at 95AD? Thank you.
There is a misunderstanding of many people about the history of the New Testament. All texts were completed by approximately 95AD. Some disagreements about the date of Revelation the last book to be written. After that scribes created copies and individual books were passed around. Only a very few had all copies. It takes a scribe a long time to copy the text to keep it error free so there was a limited number of copies. Constantine ordered the entire Bible copied and sent to all of the regional elders. That was the first time the entire Bible was sent to many elders. Each copy was very expensive considering how long it took a scribe to copy it.

A living faith will produce works.

However works can not create a living faith, nor is works proof that someone has true faith.

The problem currently is the 7 big protestant denominations have been taken over by secular ministers who are in it for access to the church treasury. Gary North wrote a book Crossed Fingers that documented the takeover of the Presbyterian USA in 1932. There are sub denominations that still preach the gospel. Missouri Synod Lutheran and Presbyterian PCA for example. The problem is almost half of the USA go to church but only a small fraction hear the gospel message.

lie from a man who adds works to the gift of salvation

John 3
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
You are calling Jesus a liar since He gave us the Great Commission!!!

Mathew 28:16 to 20 (great commission) AMPC (Amplified Classic)

16 Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed and made appointment with them.
17 And when they saw Him, they fell down and worshiped Him; but some doubted.
18 Jesus approached and, breaking the silence, said to them, All authority (all power of rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me.
19 Go then and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be).

Well "Observe" can mean-watch in order to learn or seek to do as by example-,and Jesus gave the "command" to his disciples not everyone in general, for the disciples"already believed" and so they would obey,he wasn't making like a chain reaction order that if one disciple got a person to listen that the person was to obey what was taught them, that would be "forcing" an individual in to a decision instead of "giving them the possibility" to accept what they taught.

From what we have seen...even if the truth was in glowing 30 foot tall neon letters you will still push your Catholic roots.....your really should study your history without bias and blinders on.......I think I will start posting accurate the accurate history of your work.....funny thing......even in the 60's the Catholics and Presbyterians were getting back together.....the daughter returning to her mother.....wow.......very interesting articles.....

Presbyterians Travel to The Vatican in Search of Unity With Roman Catholics

https://www.christianheadlines.com/...rch-of-unity-with-roman-catholics-525346.html

In a historic three-day meeting, Presbyterian and Roman Catholic officials inched closer to more visible unity between their churches.

The formal talks were sometimes simple and direct, sometimes as labyrinthine as the streets of this ancient city.

At their conclusion, on March 22, the 15-member delegation from the Presbyterian Church (USA) and five staff members from the Vatican's Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity issued a joint statement in which they pledged to continue working toward a theological agreement on three major issues:

* The doctrine of justification
* Mutual recognition of each other's baptisms
* A joint study of Reformation-era documents in which the churches condemned each other, culminating in a declaration "that they no longer reflect the reality of our views of each other."
