Monday is the day I scrub the oven at work. I'm not too big on Mondays.
On the other hand I had a great Sunday and I have plenty of dark chocolate to act as a backup battery if I tire, so I'm ready. Bring it on oven. With grill cleaner and a scouring pad I can take anything you can dish out... er, bake on.
I just hope the manager doesn't listen to me. I always give the manager a courtesy reminder that today is Monday and I will be shutting the oven down at a certain time. About two fifths of the time the manager doesn't listen, with the result that I say "I'm shutting the oven down" and the manager says, "Oh wait, we need this and this and that cooked first!" Which means I get paid to stand around and do nothing for a while. I like getting paid to stand around and do nothing, but NOT reminding the manager about the oven would go against my work ethic, so I really hope the manager doesn't listen.
