And you know that I love you too! Sore neck you say? Here let me help you with that - (not sure how to perform an on-line neck massage other than *neck massage* lol). Here's some iced coffee for us to share a bit later - mine is the one with the Soy milk - can you pick it? Lol.

haha :D
The one in front is the Soy and you can have that one for sure - Soy is not good for males by the way. But those look awe-inspiringly good. Anyway, as far as virtual neck rubs, Jesus says we live now by faith, So have faith I am receiving it and I will - Oh, wait I have a knock on my door hold on that must be Faith now, I have to go ... Wait What?:rolleyes::confused:.

And then become the Bible in the way we live like Christ. This Waggles is awesome advice. Or as a famous person once said: "Take time to stop and smell the Scriptures." I'm scrambling to find out that authors name hold on....:).

Adding lol - Oh did I type Soy? Sorry I meant JOY - and I put that in both our drinks! Lol. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of Soy either - but I do drink it like that occasionally where quantity is a factor (a taste thing) - otherwise the Ice Cream that we Aussie peeps sometimes have in our Iced Coffee, for me is most definitely and most certainly always made from Cow. Lol

That is very kind of you to say

I have worked in the photo industry for the last 42 years. I actually started my first job on my twenty first birthday, after having applied there many times and being turned away because I had no experience before they finally hired me, which is a fact I did point out to them (that I would never get any experience if nobody hired me for lack of experience :)) :D During the time I was applying for that job, a few people had been hired and they had all left shortly after being hired, because they did not like it

I worked at the first lab for about a year and a half, at which time I crossed the country to make the west coast my home. I have had two jobs since being here, my current one miraculously lasting 36 years. A lot of changes have happened in that time, both personally, and professionally. The biggest change in my personal life was my conversion, becoming a Christian in 2004. The biggest change professionally was the transition to digital.

Digital has many advantages, including the ability to majorly play with the images more than you really could before. I like playing with images  How much talent I have may be questionable, but the drive to create, not so much :) I love losing myself in the creative process :D I am also grateful that others appreciate the things I have created with what God has given me. I like sharing what I have learned :D
Thanks for sharing Magenta, I enjoyed reading about your job!
Can relate to the catch-22 of needing a job but not having experience when I was young. It's cool that you had the confidence to point out the obvious to them! :D

I'm interested in what you said about the transition to digital. Did you used to do photo darkroom processing bit?

When I was about 17, I did a short basic photography course where I processed my photos in the darkroom.
And hung them up!! It was so,cool to swill the photo in the tray and see the image forming slowly. :)
Also really enjoyed that part of learning about light, angles, contrast. Was particularly drawn to black and white. When I got my computer and discovered photo editing, I really enjoy colour now. Lots of colour!!! :D

Love discovering your creations here, they bring lotsa pleasure and joy - please keep creating and sharing!! :)
God Bless x

Ten-four on that hufel. (10-4 is CB talk for OK or YES) I wonder if ten-four knows that. I'm sure he does. How are you today, hufel?

I'm well thankyou Deade - still cold there were you are? We don't get snow in our neck of the woods - it's too temperate for that here. Although I can remember one morning - maybe about 6 or 7 years ago - there was a large patch of ice on the sidewalk - now that was cold lol. So nice and refreshingly so... :D

I'm doing wonderfully in Christ. I am busy as usual, but what more would I expect God would have me do? I am exhausted everyday from the grace He pours in that I let Him pour out of me over a 24 hour day. And then the next day comes and I sit in His presence and He graces me up once more and supples me with that specific days expenditures by way of grace to be placed in my actions which I have placed at His feet. I'm sore from work, and I could use a nice cuppa of coffee once in a while if that is what you mean...LOL. Wait, and my neck right there could use a bit of massaging.....LOL. How are you doing Sister? I love ya ya know..
That is wonderful about your experiences both in Church and in the realm of insight into the Scripture you paused us to think about. I had always loved that verse because of the reality in the practical things. The world we live has supernatural written all over it - both God's Spirit and the anti-god spirit. Thus, even now in our daily lives we walk around with a 'Supernatural-Normalcy' about us and at that time as well God will come in a moment of practical living inserting His Might and Power Supernaturally. But to Him this is normal - Amazing and noteworthy for sure, but to Him a normal part of who He is.. I hadn't really contemplated the time zone issue yet, so thank you for that I get to be amazed by yet another aspect of God's realities and will on earth as it is in heaven. That is as cool as drool - Thx.

As a sidenote, I have been studying Acts lately once more, and today our Pastor started a New Series Study on .......Yep, you guessed it - ACTS. So, I am already in the mix with God on this one...LOL Ok, back to your regularly scheduled programing
Awesome God isn't it? He speaks and bring confirmation - confirming your bible study of the book of Act through your pastors message today
I have been dealing mostly on prayers. I do a theme to theme study of the scripture. Directed by Almighty Himself, He started with 1Thess.5:17, then to Luke 18:1-8, then Job 22:28. He also lead me to Eph. 6:18. Rev 12:11...
Last night I was brought back to 1 These 5:17, this time around emphasis were laid on the fact that we shouldn't pray only when faced with challenges, but always. The Lord used his servant to confilrm that in church today. Praise God. The week I joined here I was being led to some obstacles to prayers which among others are selfish prayer. I could go on and on ... In All let all glory, honour, worship and adoration be ascribed unto Him and Him alone in Jesus name.
You said the loveliest thing when I was finding my way here that my coming to cc was as a result of the prayers you guys have been making. Being an intercessor myself I grasped it... Our God answereth prayers and the eventual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.

Thanks you very much HUFL for starting this group and the lovely words to my person. I am beginning to know few things like responding/replying with quotes. I can't yet add an attachment but hopefully with time. Also most often my likes are not sent. I would love to give more likes than the ones I receive, lol. Its not evident using my phone to reply all the time. I manage to read few posts.
Its bed time here Sunday night
Good night from my end to yours

Good night lovely - and we'll sort out the other more technical stuff with you a bit later. Praise God for the thread here - it's not of my making and has resulted from the Lord's gift to us in bringing those He would choose to fellowship here. Thankyou for your kind words - I do appreciate them - all praise, honour and glory to our King for He is AWESOME indeed! HALLELUJAH! Sweet dreams and talk soon ... xo

Soy is sauce. I think that's considered a condiment of some sorts but there is soy in the morning. Just read that in Psalm 30 so it must be true.

A joke about tall drinks with straws
You can do this with regular milk or soy ...

What can I say to this lol. I've looked at this a few times now and have been so far lost for words hardihar. (Yep not like me I know right?!) I'm guessing it would be pretty funny to see - the essence of his idiocy that is, shooting out of his ears - and not out of those two carefully placed straws within his nasal cavity. :p Go figure! lol

While living in Maine I slipped on some ice, landed directly on my shoulder and broke my right arm. My car had broken down a few months before so I was walking home from the grocery store, took a short cut in the back of this building and 10 seconds later was lying on the pavement. There was no one around to see me fall. Groceries flew everywhere and my little hat flew off. It was about zero degrees F.

I felt like just giving up as my life was a total nightmare being isolated from my family in Florida, my late wife very sick in a nursing home and an adult stepson who constantly caused me problems and misery and refused to work or do anything around the house to help out. Finally got evicted from his foolishness.

Anyway, I stuffed my groceries in my sack, found my little hat and made my way home. Tendons and ligaments were bruised along with a broken bone in my shoulder.

Yeah, the wind was blowing fiercely too.

From where his ears are, his soy drink might just shoot back into his carton. I hope he realises !!
