I have many complaints but nothing to complain aboutAnd we rejoice even more when our sweet purpley one is around – how are you darling? J
I have many complaints but nothing to complain aboutLOL
On other fronts, I am preparing some of the images I made
to display as part of an art collective my church has rented
gallery space for following this Friday's special service![]()
How are you this fine day that the Lord has made?
Here I have altered that image a bit

Which do you prefer?
Oh! I think I do know herYes lol, no point in complaining, for I’ve heard it said that “When we complain, we remain.” To that I say NO THANKYOU hahaNow for your pics - well they’re both so purpley and beautiful too – but since you asked me – I’m going with the first one because it reminds me of where a dear friend of mine lives. You might know her – she’s very purpley! J
One thing I hate, I know this is not the self pity thread, is that I am needing help to do very basic things, like going to bed. So today I have to go to bed at 9 pm. It is not fun. But I have time in quite to pray and seek the Lord. And I am blessed I don't need attendance 24/7 yet. So I have to enjoy the privacy and independence I have.
Glorified bodies? Yes please! Come soon, Lord Jesus.
I also made it more purple. A funny thing with working digitally is that something may look very purple on one monitor, but then seem a completely different shade or hue on another monitor/medium. When I went to print some of my images, they were looking so PINKSo I had to make some adjustments to compensate for that to prepare the images I will be showing. I am just going to put them in a book for people to look through, if they want. One will be a small 4x6 inch sized book that can hold 24 images, and the other an 11x14 inch scrap book, with mostly 8x12s in it. I have put a few of my poems into my collection, also

You know, aside from the fact that the cityscape against the backdrop of the mountains does remind me of where I live, that image represents our removal from the world, shown in the distance the person/people has/have from the city, which is in the distance behind them
Someone once told me that my images were too busy or cluttered or something... of course I am well aware of all the elements I add to any given imageThough of course I am also aware that sometimes, as they say, less is more. Not all my images are so busy, and I do like simple things, even if I have a tendency to complicate things
Any ways, I just simplified it a bit
That is very kind of you to sayWell we praise the Lord for your God-given talents. Many here have been uplifted and blessed through the Lord’s work in you, dear one! J

I have worked in the photo industry for the last 42 years. I actually started my first job on my twenty first birthday, after having applied there many times and being turned away because I had no experience before they finally hired me, which is a fact I did point out to them (that I would never get any experience if nobody hired me for lack of experience)
During the time I was applying for that job, a few people had been hired and they had all left shortly after being hired, because they did not like it
I worked at the first lab for about a year and a half, at which time I crossed the country to make the west coast my home. I have had two jobs since being here, my current one miraculously lasting 36 years. A lot of changes have happened in that time, both personally, and professionally. The biggest change in my personal life was my conversion, becoming a Christian in 2004. The biggest change professionally was the transition to digital.
Digital has many advantages, including the ability to majorly play with the images more than you really could before. I like playing with imagesHow much talent I have may be questionable, but the drive to create, not so much
I love losing myself in the creative process
I am also grateful that others appreciate the things I have created with what God has given me. I like sharing what I have learned
People say all kinds of things about the color purpleWell you can certainly see the Lord’s handiwork in that! I love it that you informed them that to gain experience one has to get the job first hardihahar – no wonder you go the job sweetie hahahaha!I used to write my posts in purple some years back on a different forum to here – we’re talking 7 or 8 years ago and I believe it was the Lord’s request for me to do so because the colour purple was to them, an invitation into the Heavenlies… J
Hello DeadeMagenta, I noticed the cityscape background image has fuzzy edges around the text and images. Maybe it is the way my browser is displaying them.
I just got through reading walls of text when some OP started questioning the deity of Christ. They made the mistake of posting links to JW and Muslim sites. I wanted to say a couple of things, but I couldn't critique all the text. My eyes got tired. Maybe I'll take a stab at it later or tomorrow.

New York is part of the city scape. There may even be bits of Miami in thereIs that heaven or is that NYC in the background? There's probably animals in Central Park though. It's not so bad if you think about it.
