People are getting the word fulfilled mixed up with the word removed. Jesus have already said the law will not pass away until heaven and earth pass away. Jesus fulfilled the law by putting the finishing touches on it with his teachings.. It is like like putting the last brick in a house to make it complete.
Then he built a new and better house called the New Covenant.

The law does not pass away because those not covered by the shed righteous blood of Christ are judged according to it and found wanting, for their works are as filthy rags before a holy and omnipotent God Who gave His Son as a ransom for any who call upon His Name, which is above all names, confessing with their mouth, and believing in their hearts, that He is Lord, Lord even of the Sabbath, for He is our Sabbath rest. For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

And it is also His will that we be redeemed to Him through His mercy poured out to us in His Son, not by our works and our self imposed behaviour modification. He will do all His will
Through us through HIS Spirit. It is the New Covenant. HIS Christ; HIS Laws; HIS Word in our hearts, minds and mouths that we do it.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our crookedness. The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed.”[/FONT]

[FONT=Times New Roman, serif]1 Peter 4:1-2, "Therefore, since Messiah suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, because he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but according to the desire of YHWH."

Not always easy to do but it should be the goal, not talking down upon what Yah says is right, grace/unmerited mercy is not a tool to trash the Law, but is the reson that we should seek to be obedient.

Shamah...if I may just focus on your last word obedience....
I think it is actually the beginning for man....something the law was to teach ! but obviously man has not yet submitted to it as is seen from the way they oppose and contradict God !

Yashuah/Jesus even as Son had to learn obedience to the Father Heb 5v8...so much so He only said and did what His Father told Him to....and WE are supposed to learn from HIM v9...so that WE only say and do as HE does !!!

But what do we see Christians do ? each claiming their own understanding as being true. The christian religion has become TOTAL Babylon...and not surprising seeing they all follow a false christ !

Where is our Lord of the Sabbath ??? the majority of christians have not turned to Him yet !

Thus many don't seek to behave like He does, not saying I do, I am not perfect, but I do know that He is the ONLY Shepherd/Leaer/Master and we should look to Him for everythiung concerning YHWH and our lives.

more accurately:

i have Colossians 2;

you don't agree with it.
I don't agree that God's Word is vain deceit and "rudiments of the World. I believe Jesus and the God of Abraham are One as Jesus said, therefore, I don't believe, as you preach, that Jesus battled God and triumphed over God in Col. 2.

So you have your version of Col. 2, which doesn't line up with Scriptures. I don't agree with your religion. I am in full agreement with the teaching of the Bible.

Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Obedience doesn't come through the law. Right living before God doesn't come by the law.

But carnal men think that it does.

They have Paul just like we do. They just dismiss him. They don't believe.

Galatians 3:10-11
[SUP]10 [/SUP]For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]But that no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, it is evident: for, The just shall live by faith.

If you are looking to the law to work at it and try to be obedient to it then you are under the curse.

You can't be under your favorite laws and dismiss the rest. You get all of it or you must find some kind of different solution.

I can tell you all about a different solution which starts at Matthew 11:28.

What do you mean "as was"? That Jesus was the God of Abraham, and the Father, and the Spirit?

Now JBL, your only making things up now.

Please tell us WHY there would need to be a new commandment to specifically tell gentile believers to keep the Sabbath when God's people received it from God already, 4000 years earlier before Jesus?

Under the NEW COVENANT gentile BELIEVERS are now grafted in to God's Israel (Romans 11:17-27).

God's Israel in the NEW COVENANT are those that BELIEVE GOD'S WORD and FOLLOW it. (Galatians 3:16; Romans 9:6; Galatians 3:28-29; Colossians 3:11; Romans 10:11-13; Romans 2:28-29).

If you are not a part of God's Israel, then you have NO PART in the NEW COVENANT
(Jeremiah 31:33-4; Hebrews 8:10-12; Hebrews 10:14-17; Hebrews 8:10-12).

You cannot disregard the OLD Testament scriptures that are the foundation of the NEW Testament. The NEW Testament is built on the Old Testament and together they are the Word of God. Do you disagree?

Most of the scriptures provided to you in easrlier posts are all from the NEW Testament in regards to God's Sabbath, with instruction that builds on the OLD Testament Scriptures that have already beren given in Exodus 20:8-11 of which God's people had already received.

In the NEW Testament Jesus taught us that;

It seems in your view according to the NEW TESTAMENT scriptures.....

1. Jesus did not teach that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath? (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56)

2. In your view; Jesus did not teach that God's Sabbath was made for mankind and not man for the Sabbath rebuking the tradtions of the Jew in regards to their traditions and interpretation around Sabbath keeping? (Mark 2:27-28; Matthew 12:8)

3. In your view; Jesus did not teach that he was the maker and creator of the Sabbath and the God of creation? (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)

4. In your view; Jesus is not our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

5. In your view; was Jesus was lying when he said those that break God's Commandments and teach others to do so will not enter God's Kingdom? (Matt 5:19)

6. In your view; Jesus was lying when he said not a jot or tittle will pass from God's LAW until heaven and earth pass away? (Matthew 5:18)

7. In your view; Jesus was lying when he said that on the two great commandments of LOVE to GOD and MAN hang ALL the LAW and the prophets? (Matthew 22:36-40)

8.
In your view; Paul is not to be believed when he gives us warnings that those who do NOT believe and follow GOD
do not enter into God's Sabbath rest because of their SINS and UNBELIEF (Hebrews 3-4)?

9. In your view; there is only 9 Commandments not 10 and James is lying when he says that if you break one of God's Commandments you stand guilty before God of breaking all of them (James 2:8-12).

10. In your view; the OLD Testament scriptures are not to be BELIEVED, and Timothy is not to be believed when he says ALL SCRIPTURE is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16)

11. In your view; God's 4th Commandment is not one of God's 10 Commandments

Why would Jesus and the Apostles give us further instruction in relation to Sabbath keeping building on the OLD TESTAMENET scriptures if we no longer need to keep it? (Point 1, 2, 3, 6)

If your understanding of the scriptures are correct you will have no problems providing scripture for the following questions;

Please feel free to show us from the Scriptures........

1. That God's 4th Commandment has now been ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a HOLY day?

2. That Jesus is a Sabbath?

3. The Sabbath (seventh day) was ever changed from the seventh to the first day of the week?

4. Where we are told to keep the first day of the week holy?

5. Where the first day of the week (Sunday) is ever called a holy day?

6. That says that Jesus ever kept the first day (Sunday)?

7. That tells us to keep the first day in honour of the resurrection of Christ?

8. Where the first day is ever given any sacred name?

9. That affirms that any of the apostles ever kept the first day as the Sabbath?

10. From any apostolic writings that authorizes Sunday observance as the Sabbath of God?

11. Where we are told not to work on the first day of the week?

12. That says the seventh day is no longer God's Sabbath day?

13. That says the seventh day Sabbath is ABOLISHED?

14. Where the apostles ever taught any convert to keep the first day of the week as a Sabbath?

15. Where the first day was ever appointed to be kept as the Lord's Day?

16. Where the first day of the week is ever called the Lord's Day?

17. That says that the first day of the week was ever sanctified and hallowed as a day of rest?

18. That says that the Father or the Son (Jesus) rested on the first day of the week?

19. That says that Jesus, Paul or any other of the apostles taught anyone to observe the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

20. That calls the seventh day the “Jewish Sabbath” or one text that calls Sunday the “Christian Sabbath”?

21. Telling man to keep the first day of the week holy or to worship or rest on the first day of the week?

22. Authorizing anyone to set aside God's Sabbath and observe any other day?

23. Showing any of the apostles keeping the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

24. Authorizing someone to set aside the fourth Commandment and observe any other day of the week?

25. Where any apostle taught us to keep the first day of the week as the Sabbath?

26. Declaring that the seventh day is no longer the Eternal Sabbath day?

27. Where Sunday is now appointed to be kept as the New Testament Sabbath or holy day?

If your lamp has gone out how can you find your way when the road is dark and narrow is the way?

SIN is the transgression or breaking of God's Commandments (Romans 7:7; James 2:8-12; 1 John 3:4)

Those who CONTINUE in UNREPENTANT SIN will NOT enter into the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

.......................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

God's Sheep hear his Voice.

His sheep hear His Voice and are led by His Spirit.

But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Galatians 5:18

again

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love.
Galatians 5:6

In order to observe the Sabbath and be a part of the children of Israel, one first had to be circumcised.

Under the New Covenant is the Church required to be circumcised in the flesh of our foreskin?

You have not given any New Testament scriptures that teach the Church specific instructions as to how to observe the Sabbath.

How about a scripture that teaches the Church on which day to gather and take up an offering?

Is there any instructions about which day of the week to gather, from Paul?

Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given orders to the churches of Galatia, so you must do also: 2 On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come. 1 Corinthians 16:1-2

  • On the first day of the week let each one of you lay something aside

Ooopps! There went your Sabbath Gospel.

Where are the New Testament scriptures that teach the Church specific instructions as to how to observe the Sabbath?

What do you mean "as was"? That Jesus was the God of Abraham, and the Father, and the Spirit?
Jesus was the God of the Old Testament

the father was the God of the Old Testament

the spirit was the God of the Old Testament

one in the sense that there is one God
I agree and the Bible confirms.

4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

So then this One Body, this one Spirit, this one Lord, this one God and Father of all became Flesh in the Person of Jesus.

I always found this Biblical fact fascinating. It was Jesus who spoke to Cain and Noah, and Moses. It was Jesus who created the earth and all that is therein.

It was this Jesus who spoke to Cain.

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

Do you believe this teaching of Jesus has been changed or been eliminated by Him?

LGF,

And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

is this one of the commandments you keep if you know God?

Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.

4*But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
