The way legislation is written, the bump stock does not make it a machine gun..... with the bump stock, the trigger is being pulled for each found fired, not a single actiin of the trigger to fire multiple rounds.
a simple revision in those few words can easily turn into a million page law being dropped on us, just like the health care bill, remember? "You have to pass it to read it", "you can keep your physician"? "We will cover more people and your premium will go down"? Then the DEM-RINO's voted it in.

If the gun itself was the problem, please explain to me why we don't have multiple mass shootings every day?
There are more than 5 MILLION AR-15 rifles owned by citizens in the US. Not to mention all the AK-47's, Hi Point carbines, Ruger Mini-14's, etc.... If your premise was even close to correct, that the GUN is to blame, we should routinely have nationwide carnage..... right?
You need to learn to think logically.
There are more than 3500 drowning deaths every year, not counting boating accidents. Should we blame the pools? Ban the private ownership of swimming pools?
Yes, I know that, but it allows the recoil of the rifle to make it perform like an automatic rifle (with a somewhat reduced rate of fire), without the operator having to deliberately pull the trigger each time.
I mean, let's face it... this is the same thing as the trigger attachment sold about 20 or so years ago (Hellfire?) that would allow the recoil of the rifle to "bump" the trigger finger to simulate full auto firing. The ONLY purpose for those devices is to allow more rapid (automatic-like) firing of the rifle. They do NOT enhance accuracy, or reliability, or anything else.... they were designed ONLY to allow simulation of full automatic fire.
Full auto weapons have been restricted since, what, 1935 or so? If you want a machine gun, then go about it the legal way. Pay the transfer fee, go through the FBI background investigation, etc. Lots of people do it. It's not impossible to do.... IF you are a responsible citizen. The bump stocks and trigger attachments should be in the same category as full auto firearms, IMO.
Yeah that'll fair well against ANY military power and the 2nd amendment was based on hunting and not the historical FACT that ALL governments eventually fall into eras of tyranny.
This is what I'm talking about. It's like people live in a bubble where they either don't see the world passed their front yard, or they have NEVER read about this world's history...ever.
No offense. I'm just saying, we gotta wake up. There's a reason why the grieving 9/11 families didn't get diddly squat when they demanded answers from the 9/11 commission report but the media is literally soaking these protesting highschoolers (who know NOTHING about the world or it's history or how governments work) in drool.

That has the same problem as outlawing guns. Only the honest people would comply. Guns are outlawed in Britain so criminals have little fear of doing home invasions. I doubt criminals do that very much in Texas and other states where gun owners are prevelant.
I am puzzled about about these school shootings. I regret that a dozen or more (?) kids were killed in the shooting. But that same day over a thousand children were legally murdered by their mothers and doctors. A mother's womb is the most dangerous place in America for children. In many places the murder rate is over 50%.

That would be a reasonable decision, we have leftists promoting emotional, knee jerk decisions, the "safety officer" on site didn't enter the building when the shooting was going on, people have the misconception an armed officer will always protect them, far from it, the law enforcement failed, the FBI failed, the school safety measures failed, all failed, and now the leftists who won't use reason want yet another nanny state rule that would not be honored by a law breaking person.
Many, many warnings were given and they went unheeded, that is where a person who possesses and uses reason would start.
Switzerland has the highest firearm ownership rate with virtually no violence, it definitely is not the inanimate object that jumped up, loaded itself and went to this gun-free zone and did this.

I hate to be any kind of conspiracy pusher....but with the way these shootings occur and with organizations dropping the ball and not doing there job, I'm seriously wondering if there isn't something bigger going on with these situations.....something seems really fishy to me about it
When it is happening before our eyes it is no longer a conspiracy theory, I have read the anti's are allowing these things to happen to encourage citizen disarmament on a state by state basis. That fits what we are seeing take place and needs to be opposed.

Because liberals/progressives hate guns. They foolishly create gun free zones and don't understand why they create an environment for mass murderers. Also liberals/progressives are solidly in favor of abortion. Their terminology of using the term fetus avoids the fact that a fetus is a living human being!
Progressives for the most part are atheists!
