I can dig it. The KJV is the best in in my opinion, I have no trouble understanding the words. I run across trow, I google it. I don't have to figure out if genetive neutered homosexual or anything like that. Most times I don't even use a dictionary because I can figure out it's meaning through context.

The same, no one can be a servant of the word, rather a minister, doing a work as an eyewitness on those things that are said to be believable. Servants were they then to whom? Is there still needs of servants when those things had already been fulfilled, completed, or already accomplished? I think not...
If the reference is to the Word, then it is Christ, though I believed Christ is the same LORD, yet the KJV used the word LORD to indicate the Hebrew Tetragramaton JHVH/YHWH or Jehovah. But we know, it was not the Hebrew text was used, it is the Greek. Logos as noun refers to Christ.

My apologies! I have obviously been hanging out on “those” threads too much. Because when they say “The Lord showed me,” what they mean is that they had a divine revelation, contrary to Scripture, but the “rhema” word trumps the written word.
Well, at least we agree that anything that contradicts the written word is totally bogus.
(Seriously, someone actually wrote the rhema (even wrote it in Greek) was more important than the Bible. I wish I had taken them to task, but by then I was so exhausted from exegeting each and every plain and obvious error, that I just skipped over it.)
Besides, it was a joke! I do know you would never have anything to do with those types, even if God had magically “revealed” it to you! Sorry!

I would think Jesus read out of a perfect scripture, as for all the other A.D's. I don't know. There's somewhere in the old testament where the word was taken from the people for a period of time, so I believe there may have been times in history where the people didn't have access to the inerrant word. Just guessing, I don't know that for sure.

But in a way it does say that they will be available to future generations because one of the purposes of the words of the Lord (pure words) is to put the poor and needy at safety from those who puffeth at them. I call this Pharisee protection or Pope protection... it's hard for a person or group to exalt themsleves over others when the word of the Lord shows us our true position in him.

Here's the problem with "original manuscripts". What you posted comes from a different manuscript line than the KJV. The KJV DOES NOT say "Thou, O Lord, shalt keep US", it says thou shalt keep THEM. Now my question to you is which manuscript line is corrrect and how would one know what God really said in that chapter?
misprints in the 1611 publication but undertook an edition by two of the original translators Ward and Boice. FHA Scrivener, one of the member of the WH Revised Version Comittte assigned to back translate the KJV to Greek. The reversed engineered is not absolutely the Greek used by the 1611 translator. Too bad, Scrivener favoured the Oldest best theory of WH. No wonder, he had a bad taste on the KJV.
The words of the Lord are preserved in the hands of bible believers not in the Vatican Library or some monastery. It has also been preserved in the many languages being translated into foreign languages true with the commonly used Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek
