How did ppl find God, when they never sough after Him?

Gentiles did not seek after God. The truth was revealed to them through preaching and they believed. God reached out to Israel but they would not believe.

God choosing(that’s what sovereign election is) is not God being merciful? You guys aren’t thinking your theology through.

Not even remotely close. The Greek word used for draw means to literally drag off. Not that He drags us kicking and screaming against our wills, but effectually draws us to Himself.

Its not our free will. Our will was bound in sin and Satan and was not free. God liberates us, sets us fee, and we come to Him. If the Son makes you free, you are free indeed.

If you know God's Word, you would see the scripture within my posts. When I said that Jesus is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world, did you forget that such words are found in the Bible (that you read daily)?

1 John 2:2 King James Version (KJV)

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

I may not always post chapter and verse, but be reassured that if you look carefully enough you'll see it.

Now, try with context. Who was John writing to when he said that? Found in the verse right before the one you quoted. And what happens because of that? Found right in the verse after the one you quoted.

The Bible is not a fortune-cookie cut-and-paste proverbial book. It is a complete book about God. You cannot pull out what you want it to say by avoiding context.

They see His glory in His creation. Intelligent design. So, through observation. At least, some people convert this way, at the very least acknowledging that God exists. It may be time before they come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, however.

So then we do have a free will? You, yourself, just said God draws us but not against our wills. So then there must be a surrender of sorts, by your logic.
