I don't buy this....why? Because there is only one valid gospel message under the sun that saves a man....not two, three or even 50......the bible is clear....our salvation is based entirely upon faith......anything after faith is rewarded accordingly....the word is misthos = pay or wages.....

God said clearly....WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD I WILL PASS OVER YOU {in judgment}

It is not the works God is looking for...he is looking for faith and the blood........and at the end of the day it is evident by the bible that the saved Children of GOD will be found with every sort of work to be found under the sun and we will be rewarded accordingly...yet SALVATION is secure because it is based upon the promises, power and faith of CHRIST because his righteousness has been put to OUR ACCOUNT by faith.

No one is above error and or sin....not the point.....it is the message and his message of must have falls short of accurate and or blends in that which God does not recognize......faith plus anything for or to keep salvation = false.....

the works of the spirit in you will manifest to those who are SAVED ALREADY - sealed


He who began a good work in us will perform it until the day of Christ

John 3:16 - For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

even i love "ralph" in the sense i want him to come to the truth and stop resting his hope for salvation in works


to have assurance in Jesus and His promises

Christ died for the whole order of things (KOSMOS <--world) Precious in the eyes of the Lord are the death of his saints and the Lord takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked.

Have to be careful, When it comes to the gospel this is not true. There is one gospel. Not 2 not 3 not 4 not 100. 1. If anyone teach a different gospel that what Paul taught. They are to be accursed.

Yes, he is precious to God, thats what God wants him to find the true gospel. Not the works based gospel he espouses. He loved the pharisees also. Thats why he corrected them. A few (paul and Nicodemus and I am sure many others.) Finally repented and came to truth. We can wish the same for other people.

God looks at our hearts/souls to see if we truly love Him. Our service is second to that. Anyone can do good works. The heart or motive for what we do is what God looks for.

Just a second now,aren't the books of Matthew,Mark,Luke,and John called the 4 "Gospels"?

If you look carefully at what EG said here, he did not say that Paul's gospel is the standard or the starting point. He says there is one gospel - that is - the one Jesus taught. And then it is true that Paul said that if anyone preaches other than his gospel let him be accursed. Paul is so sure that what he is preaching is the truth (the one gospel taught by Jesus), that he makes the statement below from Galatians 1.

[SUP]6 [/SUP]I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:[SUP]7 [/SUP]Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.[SUP]8 [/SUP]But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.[SUP]9 [/SUP]As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed​
