This morning I asked the Lord if it was work to suffer with Him, he replied: Not if you know my Grace.
Verses came to mind such as "I worked harder than all others, yet not I but the Grace of God that was with me."
"My Grace is sufficient for you for my strength is made perfect in weakness."
Think of Jesus made perfect through suffering.
Our trouble seem to be understanding and interpretation: when we fail is when we come to know His grace as sufficient.
"Its no longer I that lives but Christ."
This could mean that if you don't fail much you could remain where you are in your comfort zone.
May be why there is a time of trouble appointed, not getting up to try and prove ourselves acceptable to God again but to enter His presence with thanksgiving; realising we could not raise ourselves from the dead: to abandon a sinking ship.
Believing is Faith that works by Love. "This is the work of God, that you believe on Him whom He has sent."
Growing in Love: to ceasing from our labour as God did from His, "The servant od the Lord must not strive." "Strive to enter into rest." "Work to enter into rest." "Labour to enter into rest." "The Lord working with them confirming His word with signs and wonders."

Let the Peace of God rule our hearts and be thankful. "Count it all joy, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you." This is thankfulness for a gift of Grace.

The bible is full of warnings about false teachers and "you will know them by their fruits." You just have to test the spirit whether they are from God or not. Who do you think is he who insults those who are posting scriptures to promote obedience to God's laws and commands and calls them works Salvationists and sinless perfectionists? Who says that no one can keep the law while on the other hand claims to be born again with incorruptible seed and already possess salvation through faith alone and rejects every truth contrary to his stance. I don't think I need to explain further but one last thing, if he really has the Holy Spirit thru Faith, why not uphold the law instead of trampling it under foot? Would the Holy Spirit lead him to do that?

Yes, it begins with repentence, AND DEEP MOURNING OVER YOUR SINFULNESS; which I think that the Beatitude, has more to do with SIN, "Matthew 5:4 (NKJV) [SUP]4 [/SUP] Blessed are those who mourn, For they shall be comforted."
That is a Lifestyle attitude change, YOU WILL want to confess every new sin you discover in your life, and will do it promply.
YES, it involves a turning from sin, AND A SINCERE MOURNING OVER YOUR SINFULLNESS.
Keep preaching it Brother. TRUTH.

Trusting in Christ and His work is just to 'easy.' This world teaches us we have to satisfy demands to be paid,accepted or worthy.
Free Grace is out of this world........It is why it attacked from EVERY corner of this world. Even other believers!

Notice the word 'because'.
I wish this were true. But I think this is the very problem. Too many people who come to Christ for the get out jail free card but who don't also come to him to be changed from their old lives.

Grace does not make it so you can live in your old life and still be saved. That's why Freegrace doctrine is 'out of this forum' and not allowed to be discussed.
Repentance and belief are synonymous.
The Jew's knew their Messiah was coming, yet they rejected the Lord Jesus Christ as that Messiah. So the Jews needed to repent of their wrong thinking about the Lord Jesus Christ.
The gentiles didn't know about a coming Messiah( The Jew was to evangelize them and failed.)
It is why we see the difference of 'repent' for the Jew and 'believe' for the gentile. Both mean the same thing. It is Just that the Jew knew they needed a Savior and rejected Jesus Christ, so they needed to repent of that false belief. The Gentile needed to see that they needed a Savior and that Savior was The Lord Jesus Christ.
Divine discipline and reaping what we sow makes it miserable for us if we choose to carry on in our old life. Not to mention loss of ETERNAL rewards, being least in His Kingdom and having SHAME at His judgement seat if we 'live in our old life.'
FREEGRACE, seals us for the day of redemption. And we can NEVER perish.

Good, you're saving me the trouble of finding a quote for BillG about his request to find "verbatim anyone on here who promotes sin through disobedience to Gods commands"
I was going to go hunting for someone who says 1 Corinthians 3 and 1 Corinthians 5 means disobedience does not matter to salvation. But Mercy4u is saying it right here. And he's openly admitting that is Freegrace, hypergrace belief.
Anyone who thinks you can live any way you want after receiving Christ and they will still be saved no matter what is promoting disobedience to God's commands. Old school once saved always saved has taught for centuries that the person who did that was never saved to begin with. The new once saved always saved teaches that this person is saved no matter what he does.

Ever hear in the news about a Judge giving some poor youth a second chance and telling him he's not going to punish him for what's he's done and then let's him go? The he shows up in court 6 months later in trouble again. You bet it means more than just saying your sorry and getting forgiven. Read Matthew 18:23-35.

The law can only make your sin increase if you are still in the flesh-Romans 7:5. If you are still in the flesh you do not have the Spirit-Romans 8:9. IOW, you're not born again.
Anybody who's sin is aroused by the law is not born again. Born again people rejoice in the commands of God and are no longer slaves to sin and are able to do them.

There is no such thing as, "Freegrace doctrine", and all subjects" within reason are allowed to be discussed on this forum. Grace is the "Gift of God" -- let God be true and every man a lier. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, "it is the gift of God"
