Same-sex couples should have the right to get married just like a Christian preacher should have the right not to marry them. That's what the courthouse is for.
I believe that's fair for everyone involved

Wait and see,I'll get back to you...

Right. Throughout the years I've had multiple gay friends and it's never been an issue. I try not to demonize entire groups of people
I have had a gay boss who treated me well and with respect. My wife has had a gay friend for over 20 years and he is now my friend too. Very interesting man, lives alone and has been celibate for years. Nice guy. Same as you, never been an issue.

LOl your argument is hypercritical and bias. I say that respectfully and here is why. Those who are homosexual are trying to mandate their Idea of marriage and morality on the majority. It is not marriage by the norm. If those who are homosexual are advocating for polygamists too? or those who want to marry their own sister or brother? or children under the age of 11? How irrational is that thinking? Really? That was the thinking of same sex marriage just 10 years ago. Therefore, those same self-righteous homosexuals are going to restrict the following.

1. Marriage to children
2. Multiple husbands and wives
3. Incest marriage
4. And benefits to those who just live together
WHAT is the Moral relevance Homosexual will use to stop this? Or do they support anything goes no matter what the majority thinks?

I'm sure there are many of those with different sexual preferences who have “have contributed to the growth of society and technology." Was it there sexual preference that did it? In addition, if they change back; as many of them do which is not reported this day to much, because the ever so tolerant gay community will attack them to obscurity.

as a Christian my moral compass is telling those the truth in Love and no abusing people by supporting a lie.

gay marriage is not of God and homosexuals, drunker's and liars, evil doers , Shall not see the Kingdom of God.

the way one live thier is in the context they have with the relationship they have with God.

Homosexuality is asin that is supported by those who do not care what God thinks about the action they do. and homosexuality is not a race of people it is a sexual prefrence of the self-decived and of those who do not know the word of God.

Well said! I was watching a show on this once. They introduce several couples and begin to explain, well this man and woman are married, but they're both gay too,so they have lovers. Their lovers swing both ways and they have lovers. They take a shot of them all in the bed together nuzzling and cuddling, while children run round. Then people say there's nothing wrong with it and it affects no one as long as they are consenting adults. When a Christian says this on the other hand I have to either question their maturity,or their faith.Perhaps both.

Homosexuality was deemed sin in the OT,if society had accepted homosexuality and we all became gay where would we be? The point is homosexuality is not normal,if it was they would be able to procreate. As usual, you side stepped the point.
Not everyone needs to procreate
We have enough people on the planet already

The pedophilia thing is always the go-to argument. It's not a valid argument
That's why we have statutory rape laws
Incest is it legal for a reason because it causes birth defects.

A few more logical distinctions we need for this topic.

1. To disagree with someone isn't equivalent to "attacking" them, "demonizing" them, or "harming" them.

I can be perfectly nice to a homosexual friend and still disagree with his beliefs, and with his choices.

To "disagree" does not equal "demonize", "attack", or "harm".

2. The state of someone being a "nice person" does nothing to logically support his beliefs, and is COMPLETELY IRRELEVANT to the truth value of his propositions.

The act of behaving nicely, or behaving rudely, has NO LOGICAL EFFECT on the actual truth of your claims.
Zero.
Nada.
It is irrelevant.
It may be relevant to whether or not people LISTEN TO YOU.
But it is not relevant to whether or not your claims are true.

When discussing a person's truth claim, a person's position, the fact the person is "nice" is simply irrelevant.
Being "nice" is not a logical defense for your position.

Now, I think it's best if we''re all nice.
I think christians CERTAINLY should be kind and compassionate, which goes far beyond just "nice."
But your disposition has NOTHING TO DO with whether or not your truth claims are indeed true.
* If a homosexual is a nice guy, that's great, but that does nothing to LOGICALLY SUPPORT his truth claims.
* If a Christian is rude, well, that's wrong behavior, but that does nothing to LOGICALLY UNDERMINE his truth claims.

It's certainly best if we all behave nicely,
but being nice doesn't magically make your beliefs true,
and being rude doesn't magically make your beliefs false.

"Behavior" and "object truths" are completely independent of each other, and have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with each other at all.

The issue is not if homosexuals are good persons or not.
The issue is homosexuality.

I've talked to (and am friend with) lesbians and bisexuals, but this doesn't mean that since they are good persons, I automatically changed my mind and started to think that homosexuality is not a sin; because the sin is not the person him/herself.

Thanks for clarifying. I agree that there is confusion and I wanted to write something about it, but I didn't want to cause even more confusion without realizing it.

Do you feel like it's your personal responsibility to make sure people don't sin? Because I don't

Matt 5
27“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’[SUP]e[/SUP] 28But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.30And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.

No,but it is your responsibility to share the gospel with people. And sometimes that entails telling them the way they are living is not according to the Bible. If you cared about them as much as you crow about your concern you'd want to see them make heaven.
