Paul warned us about this. "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people." Back in the day when preachers and pastors were the figure heads of Christianity this was much easier to follow. We expected a lot from our preachers and pastors. Nowadays though Christians have replaced preachers with secular worldly politicians as the figure heads of Christianity and the ones they put all their hopes in. We don't expect as much from our politicians. This verse is going to get harder and harder for Christians to follow and they are going to end up supporting more and more morally dubious people as they keep putting all of their hopes in secular politicians to turn America Christian again.
