That's an amazing little blessing, JL!! Hope u and Tourist had a great anniversary! We had a small celebration at home... Seems like we end up with free food on our anniversary's... When we got married the Thanksgiving meal we had at the Hilton was never charged to us because we got married in the hotel their gift to us. Then we had points on a credit card that we turned into a gift card for food at Bone Fish Grill last year and this year we had a coupon for a free sub at Publix. So I look forward to seeing where the free food comes from for next anniversary...lol

one just never knows where The Bread can be found,,.
Looks like my old kitty got cancer...im so done
Awww, that's sad. Animals should be exempt from ever getting sick. Just remember the good times, that she's had a good life and will soon be in God's kingdom with my Tequila and Sukie and every other kitty..![]()
I hate it so much.my cat amory is my baby and best friend. The closest thing i ever had. Hes already 15 years old so its a bit easier somehow but i just dont wanna loose him.
Ive been a wreck since yesterday when mom showed me the open tumor on his skin. And him being so old i dont wanna put him through the stress of doctors and surgerys
Tequila was 15, would have been 16 last December. She had a thyroid problem, could'nt keep food down for more than a day, had chronic diarrhea and gas.. She had a steroid shot a couple weeks before I had her put to sleep, to make her poop solid again, and it only returned back to normal a day or so before she went.. Otherwise, she looked fine, wouldn't know anything was wrong with her unless you saw her throw up.
Sukie was my parents' cat. She had the same disease, but lost soooo much weight, literal skin and bones. She suffered much longer than she had to. My parents finally made an appt. to have her put to sleep, but she died on her own at midnight the night before.
Back to Tequila. I knew she would need medicine and steroid shots to keep her poop normal and stop her throwing up. Problem with that was, she couldn't tolerate canned food, which is what the medicine had to go into, and I was NOT going to traumatize her by shoving pills in her mouth. She would've needed a steroid shot every month, and with me having just come off having sciatica, and steroid shots in MY back, I knew that I wasn't going to subject her to the same thing..
So don't waste money on meds and surgery. Kitty is old so don't traumatize her by putting her through that. Just have her put to sleep so she can go "home" again. I wish I could hug you because I do truly know how bad this hurts.
He isnt like feeling sick or anything. If he does i will surely let him get put to sleep. But for now immaa let him have some good rest of the days he has
Just keep in mind, that animals don't have to be in pain to suffer. If kitty is losing weight, not eating or drinking, losing his bladder or bowels, etc, then THAT is suffering. If he has or gets any of those symptoms, don't make him linger on like my parents did with Sukie. She suffered horribly. All because "she doesn't seem to be in pain", as my parents both said. Maybe she wasn't, but her legs DID paralyze her sometimes, and when daddy found her in the driveway unable to move, THAT is when she should've been put to sleep... How they couldn't see how much weight she lost, baffles me. She was always a skinny cat, but she turned to literally nothing but skin and bones..![]()
