If I understand scripture correctly, there is only one unpardonable sin. The sin of unbelief. I can be wrong of course. What say you?

I do not get it. You mean that other sins will be forgiven to everybody, only unbelief will be not?
How can God forgive us if we do not accept His forgiveness? If we never accept God through His Son Jesus Christ and we die, how can we be forgiven and go to heaven?
I'm probably not explaining myself very well.
So, when we accept God through Jesus Christ, also our unbelief will be forgiven, or not?

The unpardonable or unforgivable sin is mentioned in three of the four Gospels. More specifically, it's mentioned in Matthew 12, Mark 3 and Luke 12.
Jesus mentions in these passages that blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

If one accepts God through Jesus Christ there is then no unbelief to be forgiven. I don't believe that unbelief is a sin, however believing in God but rejecting salvation by refusing to repent of one's sins is indeed unforgivable. Even in the bible there a someone asking God to help with his unbelief.
When we accept Jesus Christ, we do so because we have come to belief and repentance, right? We no longer are unbelievers.
However, I could have all of this wrong, thus my question remains "What is the unpardonable sin?"

Well, put into the context, the "unpardonable sin" was saying that Jesus had an impure spirit.
It makes sense, to me at least, that blaspheming the Holy Spirit is about denying the working of the Holy Spirit as it convicts us and rejecting its conviction of our sin and need of God. Once more I struggle with adequate words to explain my belief but here it is anyway.
No, I think you did a pretty good job actually. God has given each of us a measure of faith. If we hear the Gospel, and reject it, there is no other sacrifice that will clear us of our sin debt we owe, which is eternal death.
Everyone who rejects Christ has blasphemed the Holy Spirit. He has worked in their life, through various means, to bring them to Jesus. At some point, their hearts are hardened to the Gospel message through continuous rejection. That's why REJECTING Him is the only unforgivable sin.
The only problem with this is the fact that Jesus did not say "whoever rejects me", but "but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit".
Your explanation got too far away from the context. Even though I think that what you wrote is right, I do not think it fits exactly this verse.

The Trinity points to each other. Jesus spoke in His Father's Name. It is the Holy Spirit's job to point to Jesus. Here is Jesus alluding to the fatal sin of rejecting Him:

Nope.. A person who once disbelieved can later come to believe and be saved.. So unbelief is a pardonable sin..
The only unpardonable sin is called Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.. Jesus identified it when a scribe from Jerusalem committed it by declaring the Signs that Jesus did ( like healings and others) where done by the power of beelzebub the king of the demons..
Now Jesus did His miracles by the power of the Holy Spirit.. So the scribe was declaring that the Holy Spirit was a demon and thus he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit..

Very strong, and remember this is our Lord and Savior speaking these words here. See how they interpreted it? Saying Christ had an unclean spirit was the key verse to back up any claim of the unpardonable sin
Yup. They were in DANGER of eternal damnation. They continued in their unbelief of who Jesus is, and never accepted Him.
Merely saying those words wasn't what doomed them, it was their unbelief in who He is and what He has done that did.
To avoid confusion. Look at this way. Jesus says there is only ONE unpardonable sin. So if the ONE was saying Jesus has a demon, then if you didnt say or believe Jesus had a demon but rejected the Gospel, and receive Him, and live a complete sinful life, you would be forgiven because you didn't commit the ONE sin!
