Too bad you accepted "positionally", when you could have had "actually".
It isn't too late to submit to God.
Maybe that is why you have a bad day coming....I will take positionally in Christ any day over your skewed view.....

oh, we have. we believe in His Son. you believe in you. you sin. no one is sinless. that is why we need a sinless savior.

Can you imagine the fallacy of his stance.....Sanctified eternally in Christ = positionally in Christ......

Salvation won't be assured till the final judgement.
There is no "losing" it.
All this does is prove that you either do not study, reject what it states and or deny the fact that Salvation is spoken of in all three tenses.....it is a CURRENT possession with CONTINUING results....man.....go to the bakery and buy a cake instead of taking it.....

1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

Man is a tripartite being consisting of body, soul and spirit.

Biblically speaking, our soul is the one that is saved when one placed his faith in Christ. Our body still needs to be saved until Christ returns, so that the flesh still sin/s. Our spirit on the other hand is the one that is born again. The regenerated spirit is by the word of God and the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

It is therefore imperative that it his spirit that cannot commit sin. When Paul is discussing sin is made because of the flesh, the sin nature. To partake on the ‘divine nature’ on the hand is the nature of Christ which cannot sin. The seed becomes his when the Holy Spirit resides in Him or when one is born again or born of God.

2 Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
AMEN...exactly what Jesus implied in the garden and exactly what Paul taught....

The spirit is indeed willing, but the flesh is weak....

1 Corinthians 4:4-5, “For I know nothing by myself; yet by this I am not justified, for He Who judges me is יהוה! Therefore, judge nothing before the time. Wait until Yahshua comes, Who will bring to light the things hidden in darkness, and will reveal the secret intentions of men's hearts; and then each man will receive praise from יהוה.”

1 Corinthians 15:51-55, “See, I speak a secret to you: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible has to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality. And when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall come to be the word that has been written, “Death is swallowed up in overcoming. O Death, where is your sting? O grave, where is your overcoming?”

Matthew 10:22, “And you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But the one who endures to the end will be saved.”

Matt 24:12-13, “And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved.”

Hebrews 10:36, “For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of Yah you may receive what is promised.”

Hebrews 3:14, “For we have become partakers of Messiah if we hold fast the beginning of our trust firm to the end.”

James 1:12, "Blessed is the man who does endure trial, for when he has been proved, he shall receive the crown of life which the Master has promised to those who love Him."

wasn't the accusation that preaching grace = preaching licentiousness dealt with > 40,000 posts ago in this thread?
:p

Paul dealt with it thousands of years ago - Romans 3:8, 6:1 etc. it's a well supported argument, in fact, that if you aren't accused of a doctrine that makes excuses to keep committing sin, you aren't presenting the gospel correctly! so thank you! this is good evidence that the gospel is being preached in this thread! hallelujah! those who murdered Stephen falsely said he was preaching against the law! ((Acts 6:13))
AMEN BROTHER............and I agree

I read a lot of his posts. Can't figure out how it happened, but I know WHERE it happened. This thread.
Makes me wonder how many have been banned since this thread's been running.
Anybody have an idea?
Who were they?
I didn't think anyone who played a part in it would have anything to say. That's just another reason I don't usually com in here.
I'll stop now before I say something I'll regret.

I testify that men on earth now can be in His kingdom now, and can glorify God with their "works" in Christ Jesus...without ever submitting to the flesh again.
Thanks for asking.
It is obvious that you reject what John teaches about those who say they have no sin. That rejection is sin.
You have deceived yourself. That to is sin.

To be fair PJW does not claim to not have sinned he witnesses that he does not sin since being saved.

Which none of us here can prove otherwise..

I know what he claims. The key he is claims. The Scripture proves he is untruthful. I stand by my statement.

People can offend God....really........God gets offended.....book, chapter and verse that states verbatim that God got offended.....
That exact phrase isn't in the KJV bible I use.
Perhaps we should start with which synonyms we can use?
Sin, is the first one, if you have no objections.

I'm pretty sure only the flesh gets offended. Maybe some people make God in their own image, God hates what I hate.

No website, ok not all do.

So what is the church you go to?
Is it demoninational?

I just want to get a handle on a church where all it’s members believe they do not sin.
You are the first person that I know that goes to church where the members say they do not sin.
If that’s to case then why do believe that those who acknowlede they do so but hate are servants of sin.

Thats all.
Our church uses the name "the Church by Christ Jesus (Eph 3:21)"
It is just Christian.
It is written..."Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin." (John 8:34)
Jesus said it, so it must be true.
