Name the people on this thread who defend their right to commit sin.
People who have said “I can sin if I want and be forgiven”
People who fall foul of what Paul addressed in Romans 6.
Do you really think I am keeping a list of who is pro or anti godliness?
The opinion of others is no less valid than mine, so I present a case for obedience to God...in the light of "is it works for salvation", and we use all the resources available to promote a "yes" or "no" consensus.
From what I have read, I am clearly in the minority: though I do feel that some are only inches away from realizing the truth of my "claims".
It is in hope of pushing them over the line of disbelief that I continue Jesus' efforts here.
We can all live without ever committing another sin.
But it takes faith-belief.
Use that faith to proceed down the road opened to us by faith, by turning from sin, getting baptized in Jesus' name for the remission of your past sins, and receive the gift of the Holy Ghost-Comforter-seal of the inheritance-mind of Christ.
Use that faith to "resist the devil and he will flee from you".
Use that faith to remain in the light...which is God.
Use that faith to walk in the Spirit instead of the flesh.

None of our duty is a "work of the law".
It is all a work of faith.

I pray that all who are being "worn down" will surrender themselves to God, instead of defending their "right" to commit sin.

I wish that was true,

There is a season for everything.
There is no right to commit sin.. it would be a disgrace for anyone to want to sin.

Encourage us all to believe Love and obey.. to want to be perfect and holy.. to not sin.. all because the Lord teaches us these things and to whom we yield..

Romans 6

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Firstly I commend you in that you say “If I can do it, anybody can do it”
We can do all things in Christ.
Let those who don't commit sin throw the first stone.
Your perception matters little.
If you saw the truth in them the offense is yours.

You cause others to stumble in their faith and doubt they beleive because they are honest and because they acknowledge sin in their lives you call them servants of sin and therefore not saved.
"But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Heb 10:39)
There is a vast difference between those who believe to the saving of the soul, and those who draw back into perdition.

You have said when you were saved from that point you have not committed one single sin.
No I didn't say anything about being already saved.
That won't be official till after the final judgement.
I have committed no sin since my conversion and reception of the gift of the Holy Ghost.

I asked you if everyone in the chruch you went felt the same and you said yes.
I further asked you if you would tell us what church you went to and if it had a website would you post a link. I still can’t see and answer to that. If I have missed it please repost it.
We have no web site.

There is only one person who walked this earth and was sinless and I am sorry to burst your bubble BUT it is not you or the fellow members who claim the same in the church you go to.
IT WAS JESUS.
If you are inclined to live in the OT, so be it.
I prefer an age where a man can "turn from sin" permanently, and have his past sins washed away by the blood of Christ the Lamb of God.
I prefer an age where we can crucify the old man and be "raised with Christ to walk in newness of life"; reborn of Godly seed that cannot bring forth evil fruit.

Yes you will come back at me and others who refute your position with scripture to back up your position with scripture and then boast about how great you are and condemn others as servants of sin and children of the devil.
Nah, this time I will use your own words...
"My contention is and I have said it before to you is that you come across and judgemental towards those who acknowledge that they DON'T sin, and ignore that they don’t want to sin and if they do they come before God and ask for help.
You do not offer a life-ring but a millstone."
I only had to change one word to change your perception of me to your perception of you.
Can you not see there is no love in what you say?

Anyway I await your barrage back at me and condemning me.
But just so you know I will do everything I can to come against your condemnation that you heap on others and will love and protect them just like Jesus did and still does.
You will see that speck of dust in your neighbours eye a lot better if you take the telephone pole out of your own eye first.
Hmmm, so it will be OK to come back after I quit committing sin?
Any condemnation you sense is your own realization of how pointless it is to say you serve God, if you don't serve God.

I testify that men on earth now can be in His kingdom now, and can glorify God with their "works" in Christ Jesus...without ever submitting to the flesh again.
Thanks for asking.

Personally, I like verse 11 too.
"Be perfect...", just like Jesus said in Matt 5:48.

I don’t dispute those things PJW.. I agree we are to believe the Lord.. that is what we all should do.. Believe..

We are part of the Believe to see not the see to Believe crowd.. Blessed are we said the Lord.

His post was abusive and rude.
I think a sinlessly perfect individual would in humility agree not to respond any longer per a request. You've requested a person to leave off responding to you, as his actions offend you. It is then a sin for him not to do good in this situation by not granting your kind request.

But that is only the tip of the iceberg. Any person claiming to be sinless is a liar, the truth is not in them, is deceived, have made God a liar, and the Word is not in them as per 1 John 1.

Beautiful!
Life in Christ starts with a true repentance from sin: a gift given to the Gentiles after it was given to the Jews.
Then water baptism in Jesus' name for the remission of past sins.
At this point you have committed to a life without sin and are sanctified for the residency of the Holy Ghost.
Simple heh?
The repentant will be shown what else happens at baptism, that being the death of the flesh, its burial, and its resurrection with Christ to walk in newness of life.
Reborn of God's seed.
The sinfree will continue to grow in grace and knowledge, a growth that glorifies the Freer and His, and our, Father till it is time to go home..
They will adhere to the exhortations we have been blessed with by God from the bible.

None of this is a work of the law.
It is the manifestation of God on earth.

Questions?

People who offend God, have no faith.
He had apostle Paul write this..."There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it." (1 Cor 10:13)
He had the apostle James write this..."
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." (James 4:7)
He had the apostle Peter write this..."Werefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall neverfall:" (2 Peter 1:10)
Why have they no "faith" that these verse are true?

W

herefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall
neverfall:

People can offend God....really........God gets offended.....book, chapter and verse that states verbatim that God got offended.....

It is a shame that you think for a second that God "left holes" in our ability to serve Him.
I assure you, He did not.

Maybe you cannot read......for your sake I will post it again and you can show me where I said anything about God leaving holes in anything.......

You imply salvation without fellowship.
But then again, you imply salvation with sin.

I disagree with both...man made notions.
I could care less what you agree with...the context of 1st John chapter 1 is fellowship and how to maintain it....it has nothing to do with salvation which is not only a figment of your imagination, but also applied falsely so as to support some sort of working for, sinless perfectionist false dogma.....

No website, ok not all do.

So what is the church you go to?
Is it demoninational?

I just want to get a handle on a church where all it’s members believe they do not sin.
You are the first person that I know that goes to church where the members say they do not sin.
If that’s to case then why do believe that those who acknowlede they do so but hate are servants of sin.

Thats all.

It seems you sought a cure for the medicine and I sought a cure for the disease.
Everyone who trusts in Christ will have no iniquity to be found in.
Jesus conquered sin in the flesh, and the believers are in Him taking part in that victory.
There is no sin in Christ.
The bolded makes ZERO sense.....and is another false allegation....Christ is the cure ALL and I have pointed this out hundreds of times on CC in the last 4 years.....how does posting false allegations help your I don't sin dogma.....?

Is love the motive for any sin?
No sin is committed in love, especially love for God.
I have come to the conclusion of who you really are......he could not understand a lick of English as well and constantly posted little flippant statements to misdirect what was really said.......

The above post of yours of yours is foolish.....I neither implied either and or said either.....
