Yes, you dont have the truth, you are correct.

I always do think when I post...
You should have thought it through before attacking me concerning your perception of me thinking I belong to "the repository of all truth". Of course it's okay for you to think you belong to the repository of all truth. Think before you post, lol.

I was discussing those that supposedly LOSE THEIR FAITH, were NEVER Born again in the First Place.
To which we are in agreement.

We inherited a Sin Nature from Adam, the propensity to sin. THAT IS WHY THIS BODY IS SLOWLY DIEING. We will always have this SIN NATURE in THIS BODY, but NOT in the Resurrected Eternal Body. When Paul wrote this verse, he was not phrasing immortality two ways. He was talking about being rid of the Sin Nature and having an ETERNALLY Alive Body.
The human spirit, is already sanctified, but the mortal body still has a Sin Nature.
Were you not crucified and buried with Christ? (Rom 6:3-6)
Were you not then raised with Christ to walk in newness of life?
A life gendered by God and incapable of bearing evil fruit?
I have given up my previous life and nature, and was killed for my past sins.
I am a new creature now, with a divine nature.

Romans 7:25 (GWT)
[SUP]25 [/SUP] I thank God that our Lord Jesus Christ rescues me! So I am obedient to God's standards with my mind, but I am obedient to sin's standards with my corrupt nature.

I really dislike your version of the bible.
Your editors have missed the fact that in Romans 6:3-6 Paul gave up his old self, with it's nature.
It is the mind that rules the life of a Christian; and that mind is Christ's.

How do we rectify the supposed contradiction? What you may not have thought of, is the FACT THAT WE HAVE A SANCTIFIED NATURE in our human spirit, that as it matures, becomes stronger and dominates over the sin nature. AND WITH THE LORD's HELP, our Sanctified spiritual nature will eagerly confess each new sin, repenting of them, thereby sinning less and less often.
This is the definition of sanctified that I abide by..."consecrated, made holy, atoned for, set apart, blessed."
If your "nature" wasn't included in the list, you are unsanctified.
New creatures that are born of God, don't commit "new sins".

My bad.

This statement is wrong then, because those full of hatred sometimes speak truth, and when they do, truth spoken in hatred IS hatred. It makes the truth of none effect.
? Did you not know that truth is a person? How does a Child of God speak truth with hatred? We lift Truth up. Just as Jesus said, if I be lifted up, I will draw all men to me. So our witness should be the Cross. Not the law or our obedience to it.

Now, I'm not familiar with you as yet, so those last words are not directed to you.

I know preacher. He speaks of Jesus.

John 3:5-7 (CSBBible)
[SUP]5 [/SUP] Jesus answered, "Truly I tell you, unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[SUP]7 [/SUP] Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.

The human spirit was dead at natural Birth, and it was birthed into ETERNAL "SANCTIFIED BY THE BLOOD" LIFE by the HOLY SPIRIT. Somehow, I am sure it will NOT HAVE A PROBLEM, because of what CHRIST DID ON THE CROSS and what the HOLY SPIRIT IS DOING IN YOUR HEART.
Are you of the school that believes rebirth equates to two of you running around now?
I hope not, as we have been given the way for "the wages of sin" to be paid...by our death with Christ'
All that is left here is a man who walks in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

1 Timothy 1:15-16 (CSBBible)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners"and I am the worst of them.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate his extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in him for eternal life.
Again, I struggle with your version of scripture.
It clearly is in error regarding its interpretation of Paul's writing.
Paul is the "chief" of those saved from sin.
If you were saved from alligators, would you go back to playing with alligators?
Neither would Paul go back into sin: something he has been saved from.

Paul understood that sin still dwelt in his body, why are you struggling with it. NOTICE HE DID NOT SAY "I WAS THE WORST OF THEM".
It only dwelt in his body until his body was crucified, buried, and raised with Christ to walk in newness of life.

I did not say committed sin, now did I, but he may have. That HE STILL HAD A SIN NATURE THAT WANTED TO SIN, WHICH IS THE SAME AS THE DEED.
The "new creature" doesn't have a sin nature.
You are wrong.

1 Timothy 1:15 (CSBBible)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: "Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners" — and I am the worst of them.

What were YOU saved from?
What were the Jews waiting to be saved from?
I was saved from service to sin, and so was Paul.

James 5:15-16 (NASB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] and the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
[SUP]16 [/SUP] Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
It seems odd that you don't recognize that the righteous man is the one praying for the UNrighteous man.
The unrighteous' name will not be written in the book of life.

These people who say they do not sin disregard and or are oblivious to why God CHASTENS SONS WHOM HE RECEIVES.....and the concept that GOD only CHASTENS SONS and if no CHASTENING you are a BASTARD and illegitimate.....
What of those who need no chastening?
Don't you think anyone loves God above all else?

TO BE A SON you must be SAVED and SAVED SONS who sin ARE CHASTENED not CAST AWAY..
If they sin, I agree with VCO that they were never reborn.
After sinners "turn from sin" they can start counting their days in Christ.
They lost everything before their real "repentance from sin".

John was clear....IF WE say that WE have no sin WE are deceived and the truth is not in US <----PRESENT TENSE and he INCLUDES HIMSELF!
Was he also clear in 1 John 1:5?..."[FONT=&quot]If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:"[/FONT]Was he clear in 1 John 2:4?...[FONT=&quot]He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him."
How about 1 John 3:9?..."[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.[/FONT][FONT=&quot]"
Was he clear in 1 John 2:2-3?..."[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. [/FONT][FONT=&quot]For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous."
And..."[/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not."
How much clearer could John be that there are people who love God above all else?
People who don't commit sin.[/FONT]

John

a. The disciple Jesus loved
b. Writes almost 1/5th of the New Testament
c. Saved, Immersed Disciple of Jesus
d. Murder attempts against his life by the Romans for his belief and stance
e. Exiled to Patmos for his biblical stance
f. A genuine Christian who loved the Lord and the truth

If WE say that WE have NO SIN We are deceived and the truth is not in US.
That "we" is the men who walk in darkness, as verses 7 and 9 both say that all our sins-unrighteousness CAN be cleansed.
Those who walk in the light can say they have no sin.
I invite you into the light, which is God.
BTW...there is no sin in God.

Amen! Those who believe they live a sinless, without fault or defect, flawless, absolute perfect life 100% of the time (exactly as Jesus lived) are suffering from a terminal case of self righteousness (1 John 1:8-10).
It is written..."[FONT=&quot]He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." (1 John 2:6)
Don't you "abide in Him"?[/FONT]

Don't you love God above all else?
God made it possible, by Jesus Christ.

The bible is replete with believers who failed and sinned in the flesh.....and they will say...OH, they were not really saved yet until the resurrection or some other line of thought that dismisses the facts.........

the Bible names three people and states that if it were possible to be delivered by one's own righteousness that these three would be delivered.

Daniel was one.....and he confessed his sins
Peter denied the Lord three times and wept
Noah got drunk
Abraham was deceptive about Sarah
Moses struck the rock twice
Aaron helped make the golden calf
Samson did many things contrary
David murdered Uriah and took Bathsheba
Paul said he does not do the things he should do and does the things he should not do
John states WE, WE, WE and US concerning the thought of saying you have no sin (deceived and not truth in you)
God chastens his sons whom he receives (only one reason for chastening a child)
Jesus mediates for us continually (why)
God's grace out bounds a believers sin (why if they never sin)
Why confess to a JUST and Faithful savior who forgives the saved if they NEVER SIN
The Corinthian BELIEVER who was cut lose for destruction of the flesh if NOT SINNING
Works of wood, hay and stubble and saved by fire if NO SIN or contrary works in a believer
Thomas had doubt<--If not of faith it is SIN

The bible is replete with this line of thought and exactly why GOD had to come in flesh to save man.....we have a fallen sinful nature and a dead body of sin....the nature can be changed by being born again of incorruptible seed....yet the dead body of sin remains until the ana-stasis and change (resurrection) ALL who say they are sinless or never fail and sin.....are missing the mark and not right! End of story!!!
Let's see a name from the time after we could be reborn. (And that of Godly seed that cannot bring forth evil fruit.)

Yes, because faith obeys. Faith in the original language is not just a mental belief;

Hi Hizikyah

I like your gentle spirit and way of presenting the Word.

I see our initial believing and receiving truth or the gospel of Jesus and salvation being so powerful that it destroys the yoke of bondage of our sin nature completely. Conversion is a experience and we know that we are changed. We know God intervened in our life and we are different. And we have a zeal for the Lord out of that first love. Witnessing everywhere.

But, we didn't know at first that we have an enemy and he would strike.

We arent physical Israel. If we had not been born again however, it wouldn't matter one bit to God for we would be under the same judgement of having to obey the law to be able to enter heaven. And no one can obey the law perfectly.

There are only two men in the earth that God acknowledges and that is Jesus, and Adam. All of us are in one or the other.

And the Cross and the blood of the only man who did please Father perfectly of course is Jesus. Our initial belief places us in the position of being in Him, and He pledges Himself to us that He will finish the work He started and bring us to the "day" safely.

Then He empowers us by His own Holy Spirit...freely gives us giftings including faith, and even love for all these things are in the Spirit of God for this is what God is.

So everything we need we receive in our experiences with God. And faith is strong.

So does Father then judge us when we come then to the time when He decides we need to grow and mature, and difficulties come to us. And we find we have enemies and are betrayed by those we trusted? Does He judge us when we falter in our faith and question God?

Jesus didn't come to judge the world but to save so how much more are we to to Him as His brethren? He gives us a helper who never leaves us while we are on the threshing floor. The encourager. The one who makes us bold to step out in faith one day, then picks us up after a fall on another.

We will be up and down until we come to the perfect. Whatever that is.

So obedience to a set of laws is not what pleases Father. It's communion. Talking with Him just like Moses did. And Abraham. Hearing His Voice telling us what to say in the ministry of reconciliation, for only God knows what words will pierce a heart. Or moving in faith and compassion to lay hands on the sick ones...and God touches.

To live in the anointing. To have an honest heart.

The scriptures coming alive in life's events.

Read through the multiple posts made by PJW throughout that thread, starting on the page of the link to the thread I gave you to the end.
Thankyou.
This reminds me of..."[FONT=&quot]And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word without fear.[/FONT][h=1]Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:
But the other of love, knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel. What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

I am fairly confident that AM is present tense............and equally confident that WAS is past tense........!
Me too, but what I see in the present tense, is that Paul considers himself the worst of those saved...from sin.
If you still commit sin, you won't be saved in the end.

Do you sin...yes or no.....if you say no.....your a liar, deceived and the truth not in you.....
...but only if you are walking in darkness.
Those who confessed their sins are walking in the light, which is God: and without sin.

Are you saying @Studyman is trying to deceive persons here?
How?
What did he say that's wrong?
To me it sounds like everything he said is okay.

Also, you said works will be burned up and faith will stand.
Yeah, we must have faith.
But James said that faith without works is dead.
A dead faith equals no faith.
James 2:17

If our faith is dead, how could we possibly be saved?

I do believe Jesus said we will be judged by our deeds:
John 5:28-29

How do you reconcile?
Studyman is heavily into the Works Righteousness Movement a false Doctrine the believes your works count as part of your Salvation, and then you are responsible to KEEP your Salvation by doing even more works or you lose your salvation. He does not believe that as far as your that JESUS DID IT ALL to SAVE US, and that JESUS and the FATHER are the ones holding on to our SALVATION to KEEP us SAVED. Yes a real Christian does Good Works as a way to show LOVE for our LORD Jesus Christ and for GOD the Father, but those works have no part in SAVING US, or KEEPING US Saved. IT IS NOT A MATTER OF I HAVE TO KEEP HIS COMMANDS TO KEEP MY SALVATION, IT IS IN REALITY, I WILL KEEP HIS COMMANDS AS AN ACT OF LOVE FOR HIM.

John 14:15 (HCSB)
[SUP]15 [/SUP] “If you love Me, you will keep My commands.
