Like I said: you're funny :)
I know, I will be honest and humble and show you, I have said things that wasn't kind to others before, I have twisted people's words before, I have been the one who has played the mind projecting game before, and yes to you as well.

Have you ever done these things before??

Paul is very specific in his writings than you are willing to see.. he actually states that some are spying on people who are at liberty... they were false brothers.

He happens to speak about people who taught law? No he was being direct and Teaching the New Testament in place of the Old.

The law of Moses was part of bringing the Messiah in to the world to save all that believe. But so many clung and tried to revive the Old husband.. Trying to yoke people to the law of works...

So we are saved and perfect the Salvation by works?

Not Faith perfected by works?

by Faith and works I say by hearing and doing what the Messiah Teaches us.. Faith that worketh love.

We are to believe GOD.

Believe His Testimony.

So here is an example

a man who does not believe GOD and does not have Faith in the Messiah gives clothes to the poor.

A man who believes GOD and Has Faith in the Messiah gives clothes to the poor as taught.

Only one is Justified the other condemned... and the work was not justification... no it is Faith that justifies us with GOD and the work perfects the Faith.

Loved and set free to be at liberty under Grace to Love GOD and our neighbour... how? We believe GOD through His Son.

Power of the cross is GOD.

no one was ever save by law period,

your riht, he was talking to people who were not saved trying to come in and covert other people who had not yet made the decision to fully trust Christ,

we have ave them today, they are called modern day Pharisees, or legalists, ,

Indeed for those who know how to be humble and honest for the others there's a different approach.
I think a lot of people here would not understand truth spoken in love at all....

We were counseling a couple at one time and the husband was getting jealous of other men in the church looking at his wife....
We spent 4 -8 hours with them trying to understand if there were any deeper issues, that was causing this....

At the last session, the husband was really out of control and I told him to settle down....My wife finally asked if she could bring in the wife and we could talk together...we did and my wife looked at the mans wife and said...Honey, you know I love you....now put on some clothes and this will stop[The wife was known very wearing low cut blouses and skirts with slits all the way up to to thigh and pants/jeans that were way to tight]....and it did...my wife told me later she let it carry on for 4-8 weeks because she was afraid to "judge" the woman....but finally the Spirit gave her boldness...and in love she told her how the pig eats the slop...The couple took that advice and told us later they loved us for being that direct...

My wife acted in love had the fruit of the spirit, manifested the fruit of the spirit and the couple were spiritually mature enough to receive that kind of directness....

We have made the church so politically and spiritually correct, there are many who do not know how to respond to direct boldness in love...

Understanding how, when and to what pressure to apply sandpaper to people is a spirit led endeavor....

A friend had a church and he had a couple that taught a Sunday school class on spiritual warfare...they began teaching that Christians can be demonized in spirit and even babies can be in the womb...he was afraid to do anything for fear of offense and people leaving...I finally told him just pull them aside and say...stop teaching this...it is wrong, and this is where the Bible says it wrong...and show them the verses...he did that 4 or 5 times privately...the couple would promise to stop and then kept on going....He finally went to their class and as soon as they brought it up, he stopped them and said they were done and could pack up their things and were welcome to join in the main service, but they would never again teach Sunday school in that church again....they stomped off and lied on him all over town....

A few weeks alter many who were taking that class thanked him for stopping it, because they were very hurt by the couples teaching....he also saw people who had stopped coming to sunday school return....

I also think people are far too serious for this chat board[myself included] nobody knows anyone here and they act like we are some big happy family....its a chat board....

At the end of the day people do not respond to having their pride scraped off....I know I hate it when it happens to me...but if you submit to teh process...God can use you

Matthew 12:46-50

46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.

47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.

48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

I think we have a different type of Pharisee..

I have met a few trying to revive the dead Husband in cc... but a Pharisee of the New Covenant is those that Believe not and cling to a verse refusing all else like a crusader... imo..

Paul states how did you Recieve the Spirit by Works or Faith etc... so I'm not sure what you mean by fully Trust at a guess they did not accept Christ did everything for them on the cross?

I think we move in to speculating territory if we consider too much and not work out our own Salvation with fear and trembling..

Philippians 2:12-13

Matthew 7:3-5

3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?

4 Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

5 Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye.

a Pharisee is one who thinks they will make it to heaven based on how righteous they are, they think salvation is maintained by works.

gotta love it when peeps are like you cannot spiritually discern anyone on a chat board...
I know right, speak of a truth and look what happened, like turning on the lights in a room full of cockroaches they scatter to the dark. There's a hand full of folks here that can do it spiritually discern, I believe you being one as well.

A modern version Of similar people with a different error... they are self righteous and hypocrites like Pharisees..

You state Salvation is perfected by works earlier...

stop projecting and implying what you think people are saying and spreading speculations that are nothing but ideas cooked up in your own mind, to sow discord and to intentionally discredit people...Not one person condemned small groups or said they preferred mega churches or even alluded to these things but you...

You are willfully planting seeds of doubt nobody has stated or even alluded to, the motivation for why you do it is becoming clear and I am not the only one who has taken notice and acted accordingly...
You're not the only...I've witnessed it too.

I learned a very long time ago, that if the Spirit reveals something to you about someone you are given by God, you must always operate in love....

Sometimes a very crisp and firm NO! & STOP IT!...is the best I love you a person needs.....

Many are under the spell of the hirelings and not true shepherds...

I think we have to be PERFECTLY clear. EVERY person that is saved is bought with the Blood of Christ Alone! OT, NT, makes no difference.

Yes sir I agree, it's like if a person is close to a edge of cliff, am I going to talk nice and sweat to them or yell and scream at them, I choose the latter it gets the persons attention to walk way from the edge. And that's out of Love for them.

I think we we all agree that without the shedding of His blood there is no remission for our sins... no reconciliation with GOD.. No Everlasting life... no purging of our conscience from dead works to serve the Living GOD..

I used the illustration of a child touching a hot stove this weekend....

I think whats over the top here is how quickly people get self-righteous about themselves when confronted by someone who is not going to take it anymore....then others have the need to defend them....it also revolves solely around doctrinal beliefs...if someone says something to another and they do not believe as you do...you are a wolf...if you believe the same way as I do your right on....
