In the Indonesian forum I have been throw 3 time, in english forum, there is one that I am not able to post anymore, They not tell me anything but I do not know why I am not able to post.
The Bible tells us in Daniel 9:26...."and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary"
The 'People of the Prince' was the Romans. Titans Vespasian was a prince to become emperor. Now there are a few things to consider here.
1. There were two sections of the Roman Empire--- East and the West. The West where the Vatican is located in collapses 1000 years before the eastern leg does.
2. the 2nd point is that the Roman Army paid the people of the area to be in their army... There was a high price! They had to serve twenty years. but in the end they would become a Roman Citizen. Of course they got paid during this time. The Roman Empire extended into Irag, Syria, Turkey, etc. Thus the "People of the Prince" would have been from this area.
Throughout the Bible 'the Assyrian' was spoken of in 13 different verses over 4 books. For the most part 'the Assyrian' they were speaking of was 'Nimrod'. The first ruler of the first empire on earth.
It appears that the Biblical pattern setforth in the OT will again grip Israel with the potential for destruction at the hands of an Assyrian at the 'End of Days'. During these days the anti-christ, 'the Assyrian' will come to give peace to a world at a time of terrible wars.
Most likely this 'assyrian' will be of Muslim descent. If this is the case, Islam will most likely be the Religion involved. However, I believe that during this time, the Woman that rides the Beast will convince most people of the world to join a one world's religion. Thus, while Islam may play a part in the beginning stages of an Anti-Christ, I do not think it will be the One World Religion.

One has to rem, the prophecies that have yet to be fulfilled will destroy a lot of countries and cities in the middle eastern area. (i.e. Damascus, Elam, All those countries that surround Israel, etc.)

From the time of the Harpozo until the beginning of Daniel's 70th week, a gap will occur that will be one of the most devastating times the world has ever seen up to this point. This will be the time of the anti-christ's building, a time of wars most likely a world war, a time of famine, pestilence and death on a scale that would put WWII to shame. Where some 250 million died during that war, billions of deaths are on the horizon with even more terrible times ahead during Daniel's 70th week.
Was it not Jesus who said in Mat 24:22 the ..."22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."
7 Billion lives on earth. I don't know how many will die during this time but this verse says it all and is pretty clear as to what will happen.

Anti-christ is spoke of by John in only John I and II..... John is not talking about the same Anti-christ of the end times....... He is speaking of those men that teach false unbiblical Christ. Anti-Christ.
Might I say that the ANTI-Christ is a misnomer for the word Antichristos. In the endtimes,,,Pseudo-Christ or 'in place of Christ'

Like I said, I don't know much about eschatology, but I know this much...
If you go to a Catholic site and say that the Pope is the Anti-Christ, they won't be too happy about it and will tend to ban you.
I myself do not believe the Pope is the anti-Christ. How could he be when he preaches love for Jesus?

Now that is amusing. The pope cannot be the antichrist because he is gentile and the Jews will never follow a gentile in religious matters.
The Jesus that the pope loves is not the Jesus of the bible. Rome teaches that the pope is the vicar of Christ which usurps the office of the Holy Spirit.
Interesting that Jesus did not have an earthly throne from which He proposed to rule His church.
