3.2 grains of W231 driving a 158 grain DEWC is a favorite 38 load for target for me. Do any of you have a "pet" load?

46.5 gr varget in a winchester case and a 155 gr sierra/berger/hornady for .308

yields about ~2900fps out of a 24" barrel

I don't, with the exception of knowing I really like my kydex in the pocket holster.
How do you want to wear it? CC? at the range?

CC. Deep-ish concealment for the summer. Throw it under a polo or t-shirt.

I often fall back to the Walther PPS for when I have to go really light, but I suspect I can rock a 19 well enough between 1 and 3 o'clock.

deep to me would be a pants pocket, the kydex I have has a long "ear" on the front to keep
it in a pocket, works great, releases nice.

just "found" a S&W Model 10, heavy barrel, think I am going to really like this one.
just created a batch with 3.2gr. of W231, 158 gr. DEWC, will test drive tomorrow.

Those are really slick shooters. Recoil is minimal, power is more than adequate, and accuracy is anywhere from "really good" to "holy $&%@#" Not that I would ever say that...

Mine is the same gun, but in "rostfrei"..... Model 64


If you ever want to gain proficiency in double action shooting, this is the gun with which to do it. They are "silly grin" smooth....

I've started loading a 140gr coated bullet that is a truncated cone shape... I use 231, just don't remember offhand the exact charge.. I can look it up when I get home.

It may be worth a try. I have trouble understanding how it saves space.

I think there is more give in my waist than on my thigh. At least as far as fabric is concerned.

Interesting update regarding the gun laws in california. The NRA and other groups have just filed a lawsuit to have the newest "assault weapon" law overturned and the supreme court is deciding right now whether they will hear the case or not...
