With my dairy allergy I started sneezing just looking at that picture. Thanks a lot.

Though I do eat cheese, and ice cream, and occasionally I might drink a whole can of whipped cream... and then I pay for it the next half a day, and it's worth every sniffle.

So while driving home I saw a bumper sticker that said: "Proud parent of a ______ school corporation student" And I had to laugh because it's like... wait what are you proud of... the fact that you bothered to enroll your child in school?

I'm proud of my kid's but I don't put kid related stuff on my bumper. This includes tattoos on me, lol. I let my Daughter put her stickers on one of the back windows. I think people know I have one kid or I'm crazy.

What is a school corporation??

Tonight is one of those nights where I refuse to leave the house for any reason, barring a flood. And if this continues, in the morning, I might not be able to go anywhere either. Good thing I have plenty of soup already made.

If its because of rain, I hear ya. We just had the most violent wind and rain that I can remember since living here. It was like a hurricane. The news showed that it knocked down some trees... and this is supposed to be the desert.

If I understand correctly, a school corporation is a euphemism for "school district". I guess maybe it sounds fancier if it's called a corporation?

Yep, YIG got it right. Guess we'll have to start believing that he truly is a genius. What can I say, most of the schools in my area are organized into corporations (I'm not even sure if the bumper sticker said corporation that might have just been my brain adding in the words that were appropriate in the memory).

Overheard as my son assembled an IKEA dresser a few moments ago:

"Ok. I need to calm down. It's just like legos. It's just like legos."

My son is hilarious.

Sharp observation! :)

But... who said she was glued by her feet or that the pic wasn't upside down? (I know, I've watched too many episodes of The Mentalist)
She is glued to the ceiling. She looks right side up to me, because, well, Im glued to the ceiling as well... You get used to reading and typing upside down after a while. :p
