Oh and I'm over forty, that seems to be the age limit for crazy cat ladies. ;) :p

I notice we are getting a new generation of posters/members here. Guess it is the way of things. Mayhaps the oldtimers have lost interest? Or, simply tired of discussing/debating the same few subjects day after day, month after month, year after year. I know I get tired of it, but, on occasion, will jump in just to remember what it felt like to actually believe discussions/debates where Truth is inserted might make a difference for some.

Reminds me of the Scripture:

Ecclesiastes
1

1 .) The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
2 .) Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
3 .) What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
4 .) One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
5 .) The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
6 .) The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
7 .) All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
8 .) All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
9 .) The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 .) Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 .) There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
so true! One thing I take away from that passage is that human societies don't tend to learn from the past, we often do the same things over again.

I thunk it ties in well with this passage

ECCLESIASTES 9:13 I have also seen this example of wisdom under the sun, and it seemed great to me.
ECCLESIASTES 9:14 There was a little city with few men in it, and a great king came against it and besieged it, building great siegeworks against it.
ECCLESIASTES 9:15 But there was found in it a poor, wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city. Yet no one remembered that poor man.
ECCLESIASTES 9:16 But I say that wisdom is better than might, though the poor man's wisdom is despised
and his words are not heard.

Sometimes I come here with a real hunger for a conversation/discussion of Scripture that is actually new, or, at least, not beaten to death by years of discontent...........

Generally, I end up just getting my on-line KJV up and reading to myself. Thing is, even if I (or someone else) comes up with a new Scripture/idea for a discussion, some folks turn/twist it right back into a discussion of the same old same old.

:(

Good afternoon all....well thanks to whoever turned the fan in our Florida direction... I am basking in wonderful cool crisp temp of 50 degrees right now with a long sleeve top on and cold enough to go and make myself a nice hot pot of coffee....oh I love it a chance to feel cold and put on clothes to keep warm.....Yes!!! Now if I could just have some of the white stuff to look at for a while it would be cold heaven.....

This will have to do for now....ah.... better....
