I have a question for ya little elephant....Since some of us like cold weather and the sports that go with it like ice skating and skiing and snowmobiling..... Will there be snow in heaven? What do you think?
I moved here in 1979 thinking I was doing a good thing cause my Aunt lived in Bradenton and never had children so I thought I'd live close to her until she passed and then move wherever I wanted to. Well she did die but I had a job and a house and it wasn't so easy to move and now that my daughter is here in the area don't really want to move away from her either... guess I'm stuck with the heat.... but I love it when it is like it is right now.... cool and crisp..... it just doesn't last too long... Talk my daughter into moving and maybe I will follow her with my kitties in tow....lol

If you go to northern PA, then you have gone toooo far. It was 7 degrees this morning, not even taking into account the wind chill. The wind is ridiculous.
I amde a blog about this a few months back but it's frustrating that church still has problems with popularity and cliques. If you don't fit into a clique, or ain't popular you feel like an outsider. I know the most important thing is that God loves me and he is all I need, am I'm grateful for that. However I'm missing strong friendship others seem to have. Popularity and cliques it's a disease that needs to leave.
Things like that make me glad that we have the example of the kind, gentle, and forgiving Jesus that is revealed to us in the Gospels. Also verses like Ephesians 4:31,32. There, but for the grace of God, go we. We are so blessed to have been born under the New Covenant and know the new and better way.

I was born in Muncie Indiana and grew up with the 4 season's and miss the fun I had in snow as a child and even as an adult....But I must admit snow not so much fun when there is a job involved and you must get there on time with car door locks frozen and driving in ice and snow.... One of the reasons I moved to Florida besides living closer to my Aunt...
I have been in the minus degrees weather before and frozen my behind several times...lol
My idea of heaven on earth would be Clearwater, Florida November thru March and then Breckenridge, Colorado April thru October.... sign me up find me a place on the Colorado end and make it so.
I remember listening to Leo Buscaglia when I was young. He looked old then. Is he still around?

and that reminds me: I wonder why many Christians will portray a kind of behaviour as good just because it is mentioned in the bible. I mean... really, it is full of examples of what not to do, why assume that just because there isn't a "don't do this" in front of it means it is something to be copied?
Amen. You step into a minefield when you put some of the things Paul said and did under a microscope. Best not to touch that with a ten foot pole. Some teachers use 2 Timothy 3:16 to justify some pretty crazy stuff.

Life is so unexpected sometimes. You make friends throughout life and its up to them to see if they want to keep that friendship alive. I have no ill will against anyone, ever. but there comes a time in our lives when we are MEANT to be in certain persons life for reasons no one knows about. It just dawned on me that I have tendencies to make friends and let them float by on the way side.. and forget they are even there anymore. So, If I have done that to anyone here recently, It's not that YOU have done something to upset me or anything like that, its just that I was meant to be in your life for a purpose and that purpose has been met. I am still friends with everyone I have through here.. but if we no longer speak, I am sorry... i mean no harm.

1. hit the multi-quote button, switch to the other thread and hit reply. I did that once on accident and a pop up asked if I wanted to bring a post from a different thread to that one.
2. Hit reply with quote, highlight and copy everything, including the code saying "QUOTE end Quote", go to the signature editing screen and paste.
