Actually permethrin is what they use in dog flea-tick stuff. It's not used in cat flea stuff because cats would ingest it during their self-cleaning cycle. You can spray permethrin in the house even if you have cats though, just make sure it's dry before you let the cats wander through.

Yup good stuff OTC Nix (contains permethrin) for lice is also available......

One other thing I would suggest is soaking your sheets in very hot water...it removes fleas/eggs and also using a can of Raid and spray it lightly on a cloth and wipe down your furniture/bedding with (of course with sheets off) and then put it in the sunshine if you can......the heat really ticks the fleas off (pun intended lol)...


The other thing you can do is leave your bag in a cold place.....cold is uncomfortable for fleas as well (like cold enough to see your breath) temp extremes are really irritating to fleas and they generally leave or die b/c of it....

I use flea medicine on my animals every month, even n the indoor cat's, 3 of them. Advantage at Petsmart works well.

If you have wifi at the meet, look up the short films on YouTube (and no, "short" films isn't a personal reference, so don't be exercising your 'short' temper on me ;) ). There are some great little movies, 5-25 minutes long... and that's no tall tale.

I use Advantage II for my two dogs and indoor kitty as well. ;) It's the only thing that worked for them. I would pull out the flea comb and it was full and I felt terrible for my babies. Now I haven't seen a flea in over a year. Praise God for that!

I'm not a dirty person lol, but living in an apartment makes it really hard not to get fleas. Most people don't take good care of their pets, especially when it comes to fleas. So the girls would go outside and come back with fleas and give them to Leo too. It was a headache. I'm glad we're not at the apartment anymore.

It's even more sad when you actually do have Photoshop, but don't know how to use it! :p
My brother needed to buy it for a class he took a few years ago and it came with a PC and Mac version. So he gave me the Mac one.

Lol that came out #super_awkward lol......internet entertainment.......tsk tsk... ;)

Just download some comedians like tim hawkins for offline viewing and upload it to your phone via a micro sd card/ usb cord :)

Do I need to point out the fact that going out of your way to mention my shortness, even though in this context I'd never think you were referring to my short height, is actually a personal reference in which to ruffle my feathers to see the sassy come out? No? Oh ok...good. :p

I will consider your suggestion. ;)
 
Today is the first day of open burning of yard waste for the Fall season around here. I get to let my inner pyromaniac out for some exercise, and that makes me a little bit happy.

Who am I kidding...the phrase internet entertainment is just so bad. So bad. (My phone just autocorrect bad to BDF....lol. That makes me laugh)

My cat just can't help lighting up that's all :)....instead of whiskas cat food he's more into being a smoka

for a new word you could call it intertainment lol......

Yea if you have enough space who knows ....you can download a full movie and watch it on your phone lol.....I've done it for plane trips.....and it's great to kill time....
 
Taught two piano lessons and made breakfast for the kid: a spinach/grape/kiwi smoothie.

Daughter liked it = parenting win!

Upper back hurts - it will feel better once I move a little, but a nap sounds so nice. I have about a gazillion things I want to get to today and feel so overwhelmed that I don't know where to start! What does one do when in this situation?

Compromise and speed through 3 top priority items to get done today and reward self with a nap!!

Good advice! I have actually done two of the top priority items (only afternoon here on the left coast, so there is still time to do more!) - and managed to doze off a little. Back feels much better, too!
