Just got back from fishing. Caught 2 humpies and a dolly and was given a chum. And my mail came in so now my youngest has a booster seat for the table.:o It's a great day to be alive.

Hmm..............uh, er, "humpies," "dolly," and a "chum." Now we cut up dead fish, no matter what kind, into small pieces to throw in the water to attract predatory fish like Bass and such. That is called "chumming."

But those other two? This is the first time I have heard of some one going fishing and catching something that sounds like a good dose of penicillin would cure right up! :)

One of my favorite wildlife subjects to photograph are birds. I am always amazed at how God created these creatures in such an array of color, size, and voice. He is surely Good.

LOL humpy and chum are different kinds of salmon

this week we get our 7 cubit freezer and I plan on filling it with fish and hopefully hubby can go duck hunting this year. :o

Please can you translate :)

In this part of the world a dolly is a toy given to children.
Chum is another word for friend or pal.
I won't even try to explain what humping is - suffice to say it means something rude!

Haha this definition of dolly makes no sense. But other definitions use it as a means of mounting a camera for a continuous type of moving shot, as on a track, during the filming of a movie... Still, just about anyone here would know what you meant if you said you needed a dolly to move something... my refrigerator may need moving soon. It has been making an awful laboring racket lately. :(
