I asked last year. Got a dream again which turned out to be from my own brain.So I immediately tell that guy who didn't hurry up hey what do you want now. Then I texted a collegue that I was madly in love with him. He picked it up really nice. And then I decided to stay away from guys, Facebook and dating sites and just post here instead. Then with New Year I was so desperate and God did not want to give me someone, so I said it's Your fault. I can't help it. I am desperate and now I crush on You. Then I got such a great dream of a Prince on a white horse. It's not good for me to even talk about the subject. Just let me crush on someone from Australia who isn't interested anyway. My crushes ain't that bad. It's just nonsense, like when I was a kid. The next day I can crush on another and I don't have to be afraid I'll get in trouble for it. I felt alone when the kids are with dad, so I bought rabbits. I think it's best to be a single mom. My ex remarried, now they need time together. The kids need attention. Maybe when they're 18. Who knows? Or not, I don't care. If God wants me to marry I will, only if he doesn't fight because I absolutely hate fights and also don't want to be a doormat. Why on earth would you when you're finally free do it again? Obey mr so and so. I want this. I need that. The house has to be clean. No only if some unicorn exists maybe, otherwise no thanks.

I know I've said this before (but due to my old age don't remember if it was here or on another forum), no society in history has ever thrived where singleness prevailed over the married state. Society thrives when solid families serve as its foundation. No institution on earth is more powerful, advances society more, or is better for humanity than the family. Pervasive singleness just does not advance society's growth or strength.

Because when I see something of myself in someone else to no small degree (which almost never happens the way it happens... naturally) I overreact when I find out they might like me. I go overboard (That's real), or I used to. Then he gets involved actively despite my desire to run the other way (The heavens open literally and I'm like WHAT). Not wanting to be disrespectful to my elders but also not wanting to let someone down at the same time...
It's complicated. I wanted what i saw as the potential for a great friend but there was also a lot of love there (not lust, at least not so much). Pandemonium ensues over a family dinner and a desire to help someone who agreed with me on a spiritual and intellectual level.
Yeah, I have issues and God has been good helping me deal with them. There was a lot of stuff in my closet to be cleaned up. He's using this time in my life to the benefit of the kingdom, thankfully, even though it hurts.
Just waiting for him to line up my next steps.
